  • "bullshit"

    - Arnold Schwarzenegger

  • lol.. now we all learned something about bad-mitton~

  • I knew i shouldn't have bought that BAD MITTEN from wal-mart...

  • why does it say BAD - MITTEN? I think everyone got trolled xD

  • Badmin-in. I doubt the people who plays this even play badminton now. What's so hard about saying badminton ._.

  • BICEPS? LOL maybe for underhanded shots which aren't the most common. Most are over head shots done by shoulder extension then flexion followed by tricep extensions.

  • I wish there was a course for badminton at school and is teaching stuff like this. I trade any of my course, math, science, english, french for a course in badminton any day.

  • the most important thing is the technique..

  • umm forearm ..... ? .....

  • I understand what muscles to use for badminnin now

  • hips are used to generate more power...

  • wrist is not a muscle dude

  • Badminton uses more wrist action than the biceps to generate power =='

  • this was actually really useful for explaining bio mechanical principals for a P.E assignment

  • lmao wot bullshit

  • Badmitt'n

  • this video is complete garbage...LOL!~

  • They don't even talk about leg muscle witch are involved for running to field''s fourth corners and jumping for a jump smash. WTF about bicep, lol

  • badminton has an N after the i pronounce it.

  • Where did wrist muscles go?

DISCLAIMER : THSI VIDEO IS OF NO USE TO PEOPLE WHO REALLY WANT TO LEARN WHICH MUSCLE GROUPS ARE INVOLVED IN BADMINTON.

  • idiot.

    wtf is a wrist muscle.

  • @davidzhangdai i think he means the forearm muscles^^ if he does, he's right, most of the power in badminton comes from the wrist and fingers.

  • @davidzhangdai Stupid loser

Search for it on Google ( I'll teach you if you don't know how to)

  • @ICanUnderstand im a doctor

  • @davidzhangdai Making mistakes is human nature, even doctors are humans

  • @ICanUnderstand im not going to argue with someone who favourited hannah montana -.-

  • didnt specify where it is? My goodness i got so dizzy.

  • badmnt?

  • excellent video

  • I agree!!!! xD

  • The voice sounds like its saying "Badmitten". If you dont believe me, listen.

  • I was just going to say that, haha.

  • plz tell me biceps are NOT main muscles used, i've been letting them losen up to give myself more time to build on my TRICPES, aarrrgghh, and even so i've been playing better so i'm pretty sure biceps arnt vital... =_="

  • they are though in badmitten but that's a different sport than badminton where I use mostly the forearm, shoulder and butt muscles as primary ones (and the dick muscle for keeping my balance and steering around the court as secondary/supporting...)

  • fckin lol

  • wats auxilliary?

  • supporting muscle...

  • WHAT ABOUT THE DICK MUSCLE?

  • used when badminton players fuck

  • @MonokuroBooHokKan

it isn't used in badminton as you can see... refer to the muscles used in tennis for dick muscle training

  • lol? cough, maybe like add in the triceps, just maybe? =.=''' without them you cant extend your arm at all to hit like a shuttle above your head .... or do your back hand.... this video is a joke

  • Agreed

  • Agree

  • Agreed

  • Primary = calf and thighs.

Without those, we can't get to the shuttle and use our wrist and arm muscles.

most used muscles are definitely the lower body. A great badminton player(forgot) once said: You play with your feet.

  • don't you see the "n" in badminton.. not badmitton. fucking dumb lady. unless thats how its pronounced outside canada.

  • i dont agree, biceps are not major, in fact, its probably least used, calfs are not auxillary, itz very important, ths videos bullcrap

  • forearm muscle (for control of wrist) is DEFINITELY a primary muscle in badminton. dumass video

  • hahaha, this video is so useless.

  • PEOPLE DONT LISTEN TO THIS! this is only the case, if ur swinging ur arm around like a beginner. Trapezius is a primary muscle yes, but a backhand barely uses the biceps at all. AND quads are definately primary muscle groups in badminton, not antagonistic or supporting. You need explosive leg power for continuous jump smashes in. You may think i am crazy to argue with the video, but ive got an Alevel in biology and played badminton for county (and an A* in PE GCSE if thats worth anything lol)

  • It's not. Listen to the video I've got a phd in science. DR!

  • lies. You dont have a phd andeven if u did, it doesnt qualify u to kno anything about badminton.

  • biceps have nothing to do with baminton.... they are designed for retracting muscles quickly... the triceps are whats used as they are designed for quick strikes like punching

  • What do you mean, the biceps have nothing to do with badminton? How are you supposed to bend you elbow to prepare for smashes otherwise? The biceps and triceps always work together in antagonistic motion.

  • some one studied either science or PE. Well said

  • who cares what muscle badminton uses, just be good at it

  • lmfao excatly!

  • i think wat he meant was, theyr not primary muscles like the video says... I agree with both of u :D

  • that is so gay. pretty sure like the most important muscles are ur wrist extensor and wrist flexor along with ur traps and deltoids.

  • Wrist plays a more important role in badminton than in other sports, but really, it's pretty weak. Wrist movement is crucial but the strength comes from the biceps/triceps.

  • i'll have to disagree with you there, it is true that wrist is important in badminton, but the strength does not comes from biceps, it comes from your forearms

  • lol its not so much biceps, its more forearm or what its called and you need a good stability e.g. in jump smashes and body ortation so you need almost every muscle in your body

  • -.- why can't ppl pronounce BAD-MIN-TON?

    'bad mitten' :/

  • lol mine too but in 6 seconds when i saw somfuin that i shudnt of seen

  • i think my brain just exploded 10 seconds into this video
