Look at the original 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara' and compare with the latest horror, 'Phir Mile...'. The latter is major yucks.

Kya din they yaar! And now look at todays' times and the content on T.V. Saas-bahu scheming serials, Dadagiri on bindaas, Mtv with its glorification of everyting bad with-Roadies,Splitsvilla and god knows what else. And lots of other things on television.

Kahan se hoga bharat nirmaan,character building,culture ki raksha?Politicians can only bark and do nothing to rectify things at the root level. Yahan se bach sakta hai culture,apna T.V. to thik karo pehle, hypocrites kahin ke!

indian media has progressed a lot and come so far ; eventhough i don't think new private channels will ever meet the 'class' of doordarshan of the era when it was the sole TV broadcaster of India. For me the period between 1988- 1995 (the time i grew up with TV) was the golden age of indian television. what do u think guyz?

that period was cool,simple,but not golden period of indian t.v.

if u block all channls & start again that programms,no body going 2 watch it

todays channels r fast, informative e.g. discovery,multi news chan.,multi sport chann.

although the quality of daily serials decrese,due 2 ppl want that type of bad characters&family politics which r far away 4rm reality, ...coming era will always becom better n better
