The NYPD doesnt run any cars with front facing blue lights, just red and white. They are now starting to phase in 1 or 2 rear facing blues on the light bar or back windows for highway.

has anyone noticed that in this show whenever they're driving around they never spend enough time looking at the road they're always looking at eachother? lol they're supposed to be cops for god's sake they could at least have the actors look like they're following driving laws

in reality you see uniform in unmarked cars alot.

Kim should of know that they weren't real cops...what cops do you know who are in uniform and are not driving a RPM but something that looks like a undercover car....underground car needs undercover clothes.

you see rcmp in uniform sometimes when they are in the ghost car but thats usually just the hiway/rural patrols

Try moving to Vancouver... 3/4 of the cop cars are unmarked and most of them have uniformed cops in them...

In fact in America, undercover officers need to carry some ID/badge on the jacket/shirt so the people can recognize the officers. Same in Nordic countries. In nordic countries undercover officers need to wear at least a Police uniform jacket if they are about to pull some1 over.

@starfira1026 "Unmarked" cars dont mean undercover clothes. Conn State police 95% of the their entire fleet is unmarked. And most cops in those cars are in uniform. Plus tons of dept use unmarked for traffic enforecemt with uniformed officers.
