  • I really liked this video. I liked being reminded about the brow being more prominent and that you can't really sculpt with wet paper clay, which I try all the time!

  • so you can make heads from polymer clay? I wonder how that works..

  • I've been working on a paperclay face for two days....trying to sculpt features with wet clay. you are absolutely right! It doesn't happen. This little series of videos have helped me so much. Mr. Head is looking fabulous. Thanks for doing this.

  • all in all is it real expensive to make one doll?

  • I admire your work!

  • The picking the nose got me XD

  • That last bit was golden! <3

  • I stayed for the whole thing! I can't believe I never found your videos earlier, shame on me ;(

  • i love the random commentary, plus I'm tempted to try it now myself.

    Love the vids!

  • i think being a little uneven would make it a more unique doll and one of a kind lol i love bjd they seem intresting to make

  • cool videos. I would love to see more. perhaps if you make your own cloths I would like to see your soweing skills. also I would like to know how to make hair/wigs that is if you know how. :)

PS: about your comment about people "walking away" I watch youtube videos from Terrainaholic and I love it when he rambles while he's working on somethin.

  • Hi! I know it's been a while since you've posted this videos, but I've been watching them lately and they're very useful and informations! I'm sure we would all love to see mire. If you do make more videos, could you please tell us the tools you are using? Thank you!! ^^

  • i want to see more videos!!! i feel like the videos don't have a continuation and it bothers me 'cause i am learning so much! please upload more!

  • I not only love watching you create but I like how down to earth you are. You are not afraid to say crap or boobs like me! Love your art wish I could do it lol

  • how do you cast them?

  • LOL i love you!!! very amusing and helpful !!!

  • I love your videos and watching you is VERY interesting. I love watching other artist work. I've recently, in the last few months, started sculpting to make a BJD. I Adore paper clay and is good to see I'm not alone in useing it. I also have latex and resin for molding and casting but can't seem to find anything about the process. Think you might give an example of how your process goes?

    Anyways keep up the awesome!

  • these vids are great! definitely not bored here...and there's nothing wrong with talking to yourself lol.

I'd like to see the ending of this...since these were posted quite a few months ago... :)

  • thanks for posting these vids!! ^_^

and that's why my doll head sucked! lol no brow and no eye wells ><

    thanks!

  • I did not walk away and you are not boring at all! I loved watching you work! Thank you for making these vids! ^^

I have just started using paper clay. Or should I say that I just started sculpting and chose to use paper clay. I am starting with super easy stuff though and am currently making high platform shoes. I was so relieved when I found out you can bake paper clay! It would have taken forever to wait for my platforms to air dry.

  • Ahh, this was helpful. And you're very good!

  • what is that stuff you sprayed on the doll before you put it in the oven?

  • @angelicaneji It's just water. wet paperclay sometimes has trouble sticking to a dry paperclay surface, so i wet it. :3

  • you said volks & dollfies are different

  • @hikarusbestfreind I went back and listened to it again, and I say "Dollshe" not dollfie. Sorry, I was mostly muttering to myself. :D
