  • Epic chorus is epic.

  • This reminds me of the intro to Brutal Legend. F these Pussies

  • canadian metal is soo good.

  • Awesome Prog. Melodic Death!!! Canadian metal is fucking amazing (Y)

  • *to all who bitch about the Iced Earth/Into Eternity thing*

"Whuzzat? Sorry, can't hear ya over the sounds of how awesome both bands are!"

*continues to rock out in peace*

  • macworld, anyone?

  • They should of stuck to "Scattering of Ashes" style of music... Bloody amazing album, and it doesn't have that wanky pig squeel shit.

  • Really disappointed in the vocal approach to this album, had such a Deathcore feel it ruined a lot of songs :\

Oh and listen to the new Dantes Inferno with Stu on vocals, he sounds like Barlow, no?

  • Here's an idea.....how bout we all just shut up and listenin to the tunes. Who gives a fuck who is where. Be happy for him. Metal has always been there for us no matter and always will.

We're all brothers to the bone for embracing metal and that is something that is completely unshakeable and no force in this fucking world will take metal away from us who want it, need it and bleed it.

    Stick together.

  • @bigsexy90210 now this is a man who gets it, i salute you sir \m/

  • @bigsexy90210 preach it brotha!

  • @bigsexy90210 True, but if you're Avenged Sevenfold, you can go fuck yourself.

  • @GuitarGuy057 what's wrong with A7X?

  • @closure013 Sell. Outs.

I love "Critical Acclaim" and it's ilk, but the latter shit annoys the hell outta me.

  • @GuitarGuy057 true

  • @GuitarGuy057 typical comment. Thanks man. You could have said something else, but ok. If you want to go "that route" in a conversation than I'd hate to know how you were raised as a child.

  • @bigsexy90210 And that's a typical response to a lame-ass douche of a FANBOY who's just had one of his band's nutpunched. I've been a guitarist for going on 17 years, and have started attending Berklee College of Music. Not only are they sellouts, but their poser-named guitarists are just top-notch showboat wankers of the fretboard.

  • @GuitarGuy057 hahaha berkely boy eh? I see we all know the next john petrucci wannabe. Good luck to you my friend. I guess you pansy-ass little university bum fuckers can't handle real fuckin work so run away bitch. I just like the music cuz it's music and they put on a good show......you just yap your little gums on the internet. Let me know when your done learning how to play music at berkely and start your little band ok?

  • @bigsexy90210 Maybe you'd spell it right, I'd agree you knew jack shit about it. And you have no idea the work I do for my country, punk.

  • @GuitarGuy057 Dont think about trying to get into a pissing match with me about "what i do for my country" you little cunt. You're just a baby with a guitar and a big mouth. I made a nice comment about heavy metal and you fuckin lipped me off so I'm aiming this shit in your direction. I dont give a fuck what you do for your country. As far as i know, you're just some artsy fuckin douchebag. So dont give me some military bullshit if thats what you were thinking buddy. Youre not worthy.

  • @bigsexy90210 Yeah, I do get out of the fucking MARINES in January, that was in response for me not being able to handle "work", as you called it, asshat. And no, I voiced MY comment on an overhyped band, and YOU began the jackassery in my direction. I didn't come here to be a jackass, but you pushed my jackass button, you faggot.

  • @GuitarGuy057 yeah i bet you do get out of the marines.... you dont have the balls to hack it out hey. I love your way with words, especially how gay you think i am. I would be remiss if i didnt ask you why you think im in a world of self pity? Youre young and you have a snotty little attitude and i dont know whether or not to beleive if youre insignificant self are even employed with the U.S military so stop being tough with me because you dont know what tough is son.

  • @bigsexy90210 I have no desire to go to Berklee to "make it big" in a "little band", so where you got that preconceived retarded notion, I have no idea. Just go ahead thinking you know me. I will leave you in your world of closet homosexual self pity.

  • @GuitarGuy057 did you just call me an asshat?? hahaha holy fuck i just noticed that now hahaha. i'm everything BUT insulted haha. Ive just been called an "asshat" by an over-privileged 20 year old boy. Arguing with you, if you even want to call it that, is like the littlid who's throwing his toys in rebellion.

Now im gonna tell you what i tell my 5 year old.....stop bitching and whining and lose your little attitude. Big soldier boys dont piss and moan. Suck it up princess.

  • @bigsexy90210 Fuck yeah.

  • @2:20 Camera Juke :D

  • Of course no one can replace Matt Barlow (just ask Ripper) but I really believe Stu will be a great addition to IE. He has the range and the power to carry listeners into the land of Set and make us part of the story.

Into Eternity's loss is Iced Earth's gain.

  • 3:56 docter phil?

  • Honestly, Stu isn't amazing at any of his vocal styles, but it is amazing that he can do all 3 decently. While he will never be a better clean vocalist than Matt Barlow, Barlow can't scream/growl like Block (Or at least he doesn't show it if he can). As disappointing as it is to see Barlow leave iced earth, I feel that Block will be an adequate replacement.

  • Dont get me wrong ,but i love metal And iced earth.new to this band.all u guys who argue back And forth about stu,And ripper owens, who is better...blah blah blah iced earth kicks into eternitys ass.i used to be like that,And u knw what happened...i grew up.get a life And some pussy.geez! Its Just a great band.

  • Grunth -> sing -> scream -> grunth -> powermetalscream -> sing ->powermetalscream -> grunth,..... this guy is insane,...godlike man and im about to see him live with Iced earth

  • @flameheartNL

Live with Iced Earth? Wait, weren't they supposed to finish the tourney with Barlow and record with Stu later?

If Stu sings in that concert I'm not going D: I wanna see Barlooooow :<

Not that Stu's not a good singer. But Matt is just my favorite

  • @The23Claws yea... Matt is a GOD :@ now I'm very very sad to lose money for this ticket... this will be so fucking bad concert withoit the only one MATT BARLOW

  • Matt Barlow and Iced Earth should never be apart, but I believe Stu is going to do just fine! Awaiting the new album "Dystopia" with much anticipation...

  • A BAND LESS :(

  • Awsome song and video bought the CD 2 years ago and I love it

  • Love these guys! Loving the RUSH shirt too!

  • i love how he does his low growl-like vocal. anyone know any other good bands that do good death growl-like vocals?

  • @hcrubbocaj7 Amon Amarth

  • @berskerben yea i already like them theyr awsum, thanx anyway tho

  • @hcrubbocaj7 No problem mate always happy to spread Death Metal, have you tried Arch Enemy? Female singer has lungs of steel

  • @berskerben i havent but ill check em out, any specific song you recommend or just any of them?

  • @hcrubbocaj7 Anything off Khaos Legions really

  • LOL 3:22

  • I don't know why people are worried about Stu doing his growls and screams in Iced Earth. Into Eternity is a prog death band, and Iced Earth is a power/thrash band. Last I checked, those genres use harsh vocals extremely sparingly. So if they are existent in new Iced Earth, they will be used for ambiance. Plus, it is Schaffer's decision to include the harsh vocals. If he didn't want them before, he probably won't now.

  • @TheBloodRedX Stu has an insane range!!!

  • @TheBloodRedX

They are use to how Iced Earth use to sound and are a bit afraid of something new.

Its going to be different and I think that it will still sound Iced Earth but tweaked more aggressive.

I mean, look at the songs that they had with Ripper Owens and at the time Iced Earth sounded like Judas Priest.

I'll give Stu a chance and see what "Dystopia" sounds like.,I may like it

One thing about bands, you can't expect them to sound exactly the same all the time.

  • @TheBloodRedX He used them in Burnt Offerings, and he sang them himself.

  • @TheBloodRedX I agree brotha. Listening to the new Iced Earth. He is perfect for it.

  • @Rithianyawgmoth I agree with you there. Stu sounds better than he ever has with his clean vocals on Dystopia. The album overall wasn't too amazing, but Stu was.

  • @TheBloodRedX Well, Matt Barlow used to use harsh vocals at times too.

  • Ok this is my new favorite band

  • I hope he doesn't scream like this when he's with Iced Earth.

  • Tim Roth is fucking genius !!

  • Dr. Phill can be spotted at 3:55 :D

  • Dr. Phill can be spotted at 3:55 :D

  • i couldnt love ripper but i liked this man. cant wait to see live with iced earth

    btw nice song

  • I wonder if he'll bring the growls to Iced Earth

  • HE SINGS LIKE RIPPER OWENS, IS A COPY HE IS GOOD BUT RIPPERN IS BETTER AND MATT WAS IN OTHER LEVEL.....

  • @1Uriza Stu has a way wider range of vocal talent than Ripper Owens does.I haven't heard another singer like him.As for Barlow he suits iced earth better than Stu or Ripper..We will have to wait and see what comes out of Stu being in Iced earth.

  • ... we need a LOVE button

  • I laughed my ass off at this part 1:48

  • Comment removed

  • I have so much respect for all these members, especially Stu, he has the widest vocal range ive ever heard!

  • @Theshredder1712 Word, he has that high-pitched, power metal voice as well as that deep death metal grunt. Very versatile.

  • @Theshredder1712 If you want wide vocal range listen to Christian Alvestam of Scar Symmetry, Solution .45, and other bands. He is the greatest vocalist i have ever heard.

  • @iAMtheWALRUS6 yes. xD

  • @iAMtheWALRUS6 Christian is good, but I prefer Stu for this style, the insane falsetto. If you want wide ranging vocals, Warrel Dane, Daniel Gildenlow, Jens Carlsson

  • @Theshredder1712 give Warrel Dane a listen. And if you want wide, and I hate this... Adam Lopez covers 8 octaves

  • Wonder if he'll bring the complete Vocal style to Iced Earth or if he'll only do clean Vocals? Would bring an interesting mix to I.E.! I think he's a great addition!

  • @AmERICanMetal911 I dont know if id dig those vocals with iced earth. There power metal to the max, they need the high pitches

  • @iAMtheWALRUS6 Very true. I was more curious than anything else if Jon Schaffer had ideas about his vocal range or wanted just the clean stuff. Seems like he most definitely can hit all the notes. Nobody will ever replace Matt Barlow, but Stu Block is a good choice I think to fill the position.

  • i hate trollz x.x

  • his singing almost sounds like Marco from Nightwish and he almost looks like him! lol although this guy screams way cooler :D

  • I can't wait to hear stu with IE!!!! It's gonna kick ass!!

  • @Seldommetalman86 A lot of effort? If you own your own graphic design business (which by the way, being an entry level designer is not owning shit), you know the difference between putting effort in and not. If I put "a lot of effort" into that comment, don't you think it would have maxed out the character limit. And the epitome of stupidity in your comments was with "you probably thought the singer was female. Go listen to Lacuna Coil assclown." If you're gonna troll, do it right.

  • Youtube is brimming over with hate. So amusing.

  • @Seldommetalman86 Do you have an intellect? Every time you comment, you just prove more and more so you are borderline retarded.

  • wow. I thought he was just another a Halford the 2nd, but he isn't he grunts!

  • @Seldommetalman86 Well if you like Iced Earth and NOT Into Eternity, GO THE FUCK AWAY. Nobody gives a shit about your king high bastard's point of view on what an extremely succesful talented metal vocalist does with his music. Maybe when you ever get a lifeskill sowrth mentioning, YOU could make some kind of noise on a guitar and get famous, and then people might actually give ten shits about your "thoughts". Simple. And I think I will go listen to some Coil. Symphony X first though.

  • Hell yes, Rush shirt ftw!

  • God...I LOVE the Angel...

  • @Seldommetalman86 That's why THIS band is called "INTO ETERNITY", you fuckhead. THIS IS NOT ICED EARTH, no matter who sings for them.

  • Hopefully Jon uses Stu´s full range in IE.

  • Will the singer remain,in this band while also being in Iced Earth?

  • stu as it happens with the ripper owens will gonna waste his talent on a banda that in the last times has lossing category...

  • @dntmetal o.O

    ?

  • They should do Run to the hill by Iron Maiden!

  • As glad as I am for Stu for getting into Iced Earth, it sucks that these fucking biased assholes come onto Into Eternity video's slamming him because he isn't Barlow or Ripper. Either listen to more than just one song, or suck it the fuck up and listen to your pride and joy classic Iced Earth albums. Fucking hate people I swear.

  • @TheBloodRedX Most Iced Earth fans like clean vox, so they come here and listen to Into Eternity and mourn their bitchy asses off because they think this is what Iced Earth will soon sound like. They need to get that THIS is INTO ETERNITY, NOT ICED EARTH!

  • @GuitarGuy057 I guess they turned the video off just as Stu started to sing, because he does a good amount of clean vocals here, and they are great (although not the best) examples of his vocals.

  • The intro is fantastic, but other than that... it's pure rubbish.

  • I welcome stu to iced earth with open arms!!! Can't wait to see what they come up with!!!

  • Hey FUCK Barlow, leaves IE then comes back to IE, make up your fucken mind asshole!!!!!'

  • @rudymuth Yeah, I know, right? Because coming back to a band because the fans miss him and leaving because it turned out to be too much for his family? What a jackass.

Jesus, man. It's a chance to get some new, original material from a great band. Let's give it a shot and let's give Matt some respect for taking care of his family. If Stu's work with Into Eternity is any sign, Iced Earth is gonna have some great new stuff. From one IE to the next!

  • I think they got him for Iced Earth just because he has a descent clean voice for singing the older Iced Earth music and he can also sing the stuff from when Ripper was in the band. He might bring growling to the band's music which might piss off a lot of long time fans though.

  • Ahh fuckin Barlow! Why must you leave us? WHY!? This shit is gay! This Stu guy doesn't even come close to making a good back up, back up, back ups vocalist for Iced Earth! He sounds like a douche mixed with the chick from the exorcist mixed with Ripper Owens going through some unexplainable midlife puberty! Fuck Fatsteens fatass we need the only man that could fill Barlows shoes! WE NEED OUR TIM RIPPER OWENS!

  • I don't like the idea of this guy singing in Iced Earth.

He may have good growls but his clean singing sucks. IE singing can't rely on growling!

  • I hope they will use his growls, I think Jon can do some awsome things with stu on vocals, I've never liked Tim singing in Iced Earth, I think Stu will do a lot better!

    But Barlow will live Forever!

  • When is Iced Earth's funeral ?

  • @ya6655 I dont like death metal vocal techniques either but dont judge when you havent even seen the result!

  • @ya6655

Iced earth isn't dead and even if it was you woudn't be invited to the funeral,in other words if you don't like the music gtfo stop bitching. This is a turning point for iced earth it may or may not work but if your not going to even give stu a chance stop listening to iced earth simple as that.

  • I would love to see a video on here that shows STU singing an ICED EARTH song \,,/

  • I'm skeptical about Stu being the new singer of IE, but I was also skeptical of Tim when he first joined, and that turned out just fine. I'm sure he'll do fine in the end, but I'm going to reserve judgment until I hear the new album.

  • i dont think jon could have picked a better replacement, no he aint matt or ripper, but i think he COULD stand as an equal, he has an incrediable clean voice with ripper style shreiks, its gonna be EPIC!!!!! ICED EARTH FOREVER!!!! \m/

  • In my opinion, I don't think anyone can fill the shoes that Barlow left behind. But Stu is certainly an interesting choice, I look forward to hearing what he sounds like in Iced Earth's style of metal. Hopefully, he'll stay for a longer period of time than Ripper did. I'm tired of I.E. constantly swithing singers, some consistancy would be nice. But no matter what happens, I'll always love Iced Earth! :)

  • new singer of Iced Earth.... what a disaster

  • Spencer Mansion from Resident Evil

  • New Singer of Iced Earth!!!!!!!!

  • @xJTxRipperx I hope he does well, im only checking this guys out because of him being the new vocalist

  • @iAMtheWALRUS6 Actually same here, but i like a lot of there tunes, im hoping we get a sample of the new I.E. before too long, i wanna hear it now

  • @xJTxRipperx ur mom is the new iced earth singer

  • @citizen773 Hey retard, learn how to spell your, then we'll talk .

  • @xJTxRipperx stupid faggot, shove a dildo up your ass and watch gay porn because i know that turns you on faggot!!

  • @citizen773 What are you seven? Come up with somethin better than that . Why you startin shit on a music video? Nothin better to do? Go crawl back up your moms ass.

  • @xJTxRipperx i fucked ur mom last night

  • @citizen773 Damn necrophiliacs these days ..

  • @xJTxRipperx sorry for being rude, i had a bad day yesterday! let me buy you a beer someday to make it up

  • @citizen773 Lmao that was funny .

  • Hear that? Sound of Excellence in music

  • my dad looks like Stu but without the amazing vocals

  • please come out with a new cd. I'm tired of waiting!

  • @plisabe

Don't know how that will be possible, Stu is now the new vocalist for Iced Earth :D

  • @AlenZuskic There are many artists in multiple bands, so it is far from impossible. Into Eternity is writing/recording a new album with a new (crappy) drummer.

  • @TheBloodRedX

Yeah, that's true. But Iced Earth tends to 'privatize' their members, especially if they are going to be performing as often as they have announced. But hey, it would be better for Stu if he could continue his studio work with Into Eternity, I think that would help him keep his vocal range (i seriously doubt he's going to be growling in IE, IE changed 4 singers and not once have they growled).

  • @AlenZuskic That's because not one of them have had that ability. Doesn't mean they won't use it if they have it.

  • @AlenZuskic I got a question I hope this doesn't sound like an ignorant question but, does this mean that ICed Earth's vocals will have death metal flavor to them or, will Stu use his clean and screaming vocals? This is a badass song. I think that Into Eternity should do a piece for WWE or, TNA with Stu on vocals. Wouldn't that be cool?

  • @mkadragtonslayer

Perhaps, I'm not sure. IE has never done such a thing, but none of their singers were originaly growlers, altough a few could have pulled it off, at least to some extent. In any case, Block opens a whole new area for IE to explore, and perhaps they will :D

  • @AlenZuskic We will see I'm curious will this mean the new Iced Earth album will be pushed back to 2012?

  • @mkadragtonslayer

Knowing Schaffer, I'd say probably not. The man is really a force to be reckoned with. When the guy sets his mind to something, it gets done. So, I don't really think there will be a considerable push back. Stu can just come in and do the vocals for the new album that Jon has already written down, even if it was for Barlow, originaly. Same thing happened with 'The glorius burden' when Owens came in.

  • @AlenZuskic he will do both, its what i been hearing anyway. One can only hope.

  • Man is it real, that this man gots more voices than Jim Gillette?

  • This band is fucking amazing. All you can say

  • this song is beautiful, empowering, and over all terrifying.

  • Absolutely love Into Eternity. Saw them live a while back, and they were amazing. LOVE this song(:

  • Comment removed

  • 0:00 Well this is pretty

0:24 Oh God, the jizz is everywhere!!!

  • Stu is one of the many that can actually sing very beautifully, I love that he is the singer, and that he can sing, unlike many other bands...

  • @imdashit5 Thats when you tell them to Fuck off and show them some Dimmu Borgir

  • @SNAKEBYTEjr hahaha yes i actually have done that, choir boy crapped when he heard vortex, and said "why does he waste his gifts from god to help satan?" then i punched him in the arm and said "cause he is a badass that is why!"

  • into eternity remains my favorite band of all time. Where have they went? Did I miss something?

  • @plisabe They're currently working on their sixth album due out later this year.

  • @plisabe I heard their sixth album is coming out late this year

  • What An Awesome Song! \m/

  • Into Eternity is essential Metal, at it's finest. There is a select few who can go from clean vocals to growls, or from guttural screams to clean vocals. But the singer for IE can hit em all no problem, and seamlessly at that. And there's Satanism is other genres of music too, not just Metal. A Rapper by the name of Esham is openly Satanic. Hell, some of his old album art features pictures of aborted fetuses and such. It's as simple as this: you're part of the Metal Militia, or you're not.

  • Fucking intense

  • I like how the bass player is doodling while Tim's playing the intro:)

  • @madmartyr17

guy..he's not "doodling" he's playing a melodic bass line over the classical intro..

  • the face at 1:51 scares me....but the music is great!

  • GREAT!!

  • GREAT!!

  • dude belongs in a Highlander movie...

  • OMG THEY CHANGE TEMPOS

    HOW UNUSUAL

-Eat it- any new pop song today

  • I would also like to say that IE fucking dominates

  • da start of the video is amezing

  • I have to say this is absolutley amazing that my buddy has made it in band that this many people know they truly are all very talented! good work guys!

  • Why the fuck is Beiber's name in here?

  • anyone notice the intro totally rips off Metallica's Battery?

  • @777metahead777 Have you ever noticed that Metallica ripped off tons of other bands? And no its not, not even remotely close.

  • Drummers never wear shirts do they?

  • I met Justin today haha. I was in studio with him!! Awesome guy

  • @musicclown1 Bieber?

  • @AnimeMetalhead17 No, Bender, he's the guitarist.

  • @HairyMuffinHead ...thank you for clarifying that for me...who would want to be in studio with Bieber....jeez

  • sorry, my band's drummers BROTHER's guitar teacher

  • Justin Bender was my band's drummer's guitar teacher, and my drummer's mom is good friends with Justin's mom haha

  • this is seriously one of the best metal bands I have ever heard! I can't describe what I hear, one word: AWESOME!

  • real art...this music.. so real coool. styles...they have every style o.O geil!

  • Beautiful sound :) Instrumental, vocal... All :)

  • I like it when he just sings and doesn't growl.

  • Stu's scream in the beginning made me shit bricks.

  • What pisses me off is that people with different tastes in music come onto videos of bands from the genres they don't like. and then they start bashing metal because they think it's "satanic and evil." I wish that everyone would listen to their own music and not give us shit about ours. No matter what, I'll always love Into Eternity \m/

  • @imdashit5

I feel u :( and the saddest part is that their music is 10 times more satanic
