I like to think that Cole did become a surgeon. The finale of season 8 will always be the great end to scrubs that Ill remember and watching this season straight after that made me hate it but coming back and watching these episodes again as something separate to scrubs makes them fairly decent.

This season was actually way better than I've heard I liked the guest appearances of the old cast, it had some pretty good laughs plus you can't tell me that every episode of every season was good there were times in the 8yr scrubs I felt like slapping some of the characters s8 was the best because of the new characters and 9 was a good way of introducing new and closing out the old. I was about to look for season 10 or ep 14 but it sucks they cancelled. it had potential

Season 9 = great for any TV show, bad in comparison to Scrubs 1-8. I think that's how everyone sees it, more or less.

Ive been a fan from the start and even though i was iffy at first, i loved this season. If only people gave it a chance we would have more, and this season could have been finished properly. Oh well.
And on another note, i loved joe(aka denise) in this season, her character progression this season was excellent.

Season 9 sucks. I mean, it really fucking sucks! What a letdown. Scrubs went from being one of the best shows of all time to being a worthless piece of shit. I honestly didn't laugh once during any of the season 9 episodes.
Not as good as the old scrubs, but kept me somewhat interested. Part of me wanted to see what kind of doctors these interns would make and whom they'd pass their knowledge on to. Sometimes old shows that go multiple seasons can have breakthroughs, and I was hoping that this went on for more seasons and that happened, and it would again have that spark that scrubs used to have. Truth is, scrubs stopped being as good as it was the first 3 seasons way before season 9.
I came to sort of like the new Scrubs in the end. It wasn't entirely bad and they did keep a lot of good things.
Like they said in this episode, change may seem scary at first, but if you learn to process it, you find you get used to it pretty easily. And most of the time you enjoy it, too.
I wish everyone had given season 9 and the new Scrubs a chance. It wasn't so bad.

It's too bad the show ended here. I would've loved another season to see drew and denise's relationship develop, see what happens with Cole being a surgeon and his relationship with Lucy, etc

Dayum, I thought I was going to be emotional and all because of an awesome end-series but... I'm more emotional now since we had a pretty 'plain episodic finish' on this one :(
Season 9 = great for any TV show, bad in comparison to Scrubs 1-8. I think that's how everyone sees it, more or less.

thumbs up if you think the scrubs fans should have given this spinoff a chance.
Ive been a fan from the start and even though i was iffy at first, i loved this season. If only people gave it a chance we would have more, and this season could have been finished properly. Oh well.
And on another note, i loved joe(aka denise) in this season, her character progression this season was excellent.

@VeNoM56k your so right! in the beginning i HATED this season, but now I love it! maybe even more than the old scrubs...jd was too gay in the end ,,,,i think i like these characters better with turk and dr cox and jordan as well...denise and drew are wicked!

That ending was nowhere near as good as season 8 finale :/ I can't believe it's actually over! JD and the original cast should have been in the last episode!! They better make a movie. All I can say is, scrubs is the best comedy series ever and always will be!!! -3

Season 9 did great, for a spin-off, not for an extra season to a series as Scrubs.. ABC should have let Bill change the name, then maybe it would still be on TV :)

Season 8 was a better ending to Scrubs than this... This does, however, have potential to be something great. Bring JD properly and let the janitor catch wind that hes returned and follow suit and it could be very good. and more Jordan... and maybe more than 2 references to Carla...

While I enjoyed season 9, I think the show would have done much better if it was a spinoff series. We would have gotten at least another season out of it.

Season 9 sucks. I mean, it really fucking sucks! What a letdown. Scrubs went from being one of the best shows of all time to being a worthless piece of shit. I honestly didn't laugh once during any of the season 9 episodes.

Not as good as the old scrubs, but kept me somewhat interested. Part of me wanted to see what kind of doctors these interns would make and whom they'd pass their knowledge on to. Sometimes old shows that go multiple seasons can have breakthroughs, and I was hoping that this went on for more seasons and that happened, and it would again have that spark that scrubs used to have. Truth is, scrubs stopped being as good as it was the first 3 seasons way before season 9.

I came to sort of like the new Scrubs in the end. It wasn't entirely bad and they did keep a lot of good things.
Like they said in this episode, change may seem scary at first, but if you learn to process it, you find you get used to it pretty easily. And most of the time you enjoy it, too.
I wish everyone had given season 9 and the new Scrubs a chance. It wasn't so bad.
