In my opinion its close to perfection. But yet even 9.7 still lacks perfection. Its got a great campaign, good co-op. nice visuals. Easy controls. I mean, its not hard to see why someone would rate this fairly high, but your score is fine as well. Thats the point of reviews, to get other peoples opinion on games.

Great comments and analysis of the game. I was bummed in that the game didn't really "feel" like a Resident Evil, lets face it it's not. It does have a great amount of info on the backstory for fans of the series, but beyond that it separates itself from the series.
Yeah I agree, but sometimes things just change. And they really started to change with 4. Perhaps since this is supposed to end the series as we know it and start a new. It will go back to the way it is. Regardless, I love the story Capcom does for RE and glad there was a little bit of closure on this one.
i just recently beat this game in co-op mode with my friend. what i find remarkable about this game is the fact that there is a co-op option on such a great game. other great action games like fallout 3, oblivion, saints row, and dead rising fail to have a co-op mode that goes along with the game line. i find it enjoyable to be able to beat a game playing with a friend and going through the same game expierence.
slash vetran for re 5 was so fuckin easy i beat in in 3 hours and 38 minutes im on professional right now its hard one hit from aa normal zombie will put u in dying or it will kill you
People are always complaining that this game is not scary, the creators are not American, they are not desensitized to horror and violence so their aspect on scares and different.

great review. i love this game. i wish it would have been a little bit more scary, but it does have the on edge feel a lot so its ok. and sometimes sheva can ruin your plans and it seems like shes always running out of ammo but i still love it
