When these soldiers are on duty, guarding the Queen, they have right of way - it's the law, apart from anything else.
And if you come visit someone else's country, and specifically go out of your way to watch the Guard as they go about their duties, it behooves you to let them do their job, and not to make it more difficult. Whoever shot this video (and his friends) is (are) demonstrating piss-poor behaviour, at the very best.

They still need approval from the queen before deploying 'her' armed forces as she is the commander in chief of all our armed forces. So they are not Government officials, they are soldiers who protect our country at home and abroad. You have no idea what you are talking about.

What is this foreign obsession with calling them Royal Guards. Yes they guard the Queen, but they are called "The Foot Guards". In order of precedence, they are: The Grenadier Guards (in this video),The Coldstream Guards,The Scots Guards,The Irish Guards and The Welsh Guards. Contrary to popular opinion, they are all also fully trained Infantry soldiers, all undertaking the role of Light Infantry, except The Scots Guards who are Armoured Infantry.I was in training to become a Grenadier but left.

I find it utterly disgusting that some people will mock these men after all they've probably been through. Many of the Queen's guards will have probably seen their friends killed in front of them, or been hit with a bullet or two themselves, and then come home to have moronic buffoons such as this take the piss out of it all.
