My dream is to one day become a professional violinist and travel with orchestras around the world. I hope I can be as good as as Yo-Yo Ma or Stuart Duncan. They are my heroes. <3
I seriously have never been moved so much hearing a song. It's absolutely brilliant beyond understanding. The composition of this of song is fluid and makes me cry every time i hear it. Yo-yo's mids in the song are well incredible and calculated. I feel this fusion is some of the best of this decade and deserves to be recognized. I love this rodeo!!!!
Edgar is my dads cousin, so I would suppose he is my second cousin. He is the one that turned me on to this music. How can you not just keep pressing the replay on this song? This is music at its purest form.
So, I just recorded a drum cover of this song, and put it as a video response. I had been listening to this song non-stop for three days, and the only way to get it out of my head was drum to it. Let me know what you think, I'd love for some feedback.
This was the first song I heard from this Album (On the Colbert Report because I'm classy.) It reminds me of when I was growing up in the Midwest across from a wheat field, running around in the woods with my brother and my sister who has passed... makes me want to cry. It's way too beautiful.
@Kipicus I thought I was the only one :) I also saw this on Colbert Report and it reminded me of growing up in the south and taking long drives on country roads and running around acres and acres of open grazing land with my best friends. I am sorry for your loss
@88charlottegirl Hah! I live in the south now. There's some gorgeous nature here too. No wheat fields but I was once taken to a forest full of daffodils, and I live near a swamp full of wild life, I seriously don't know which place I appreciate more for it's beauty. And thank you. ^_^
I love the CD. All of it. But, I must add that after absorbing a lot of the pictures from the CD and video posted on YouTube, that Stuart Duncan, with his Buddha smile (looking like he's in a perpetual state of grace) and gift of music - BLOWS ME AWAY! !
@AMano104 if you want some good Zelda music i suggest downloading Jean Luc Ponty's "The Gift Of Time" album. Literally played it all the way through my Zelda game on gameboy.
Like this if your under 18 and enjoy this amazing music because i need to be reassured this generation has a chance. This introduced me to a whole new side of music!! :)
The iTunes version is slightly different, which throws me off all the time because I've listened to this version a hundred times before I bought it. Still very good though!
Variety is the spice of life. That's why I have both this song and some rap from Wale in my Youtube favorites. Each is just as good as the other, just in different ways. Learn to appreciate everything, except maybe Brostep.
I watched the videos after seeing this on Colbert. Yesterday I bought the CD. It was only $10. I suggest everyone who liked this video does the same. The album is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to listen to it again.
What a joyous piece of music. Like its trying to describe the essence of spring, or the thrill of some first love. It borders on the sweet overspilling of mania in the bud.

Picking up my jaw from the ground. Awesome musicians and a get piece. Just look at Chris Thile's expressions...priceless as a musician playing with legends.
We all ride our antique race bicycles to some large shady trees, perfect for slack lining. Its about 75 degrees, but a calm breeze cancels it out, and makes the leaves lightly flutter.
