  • fun fun fun!! go-go-go----!!

  • Extraordinary Musicianship! This is the Shit!

  • I remember when I first listened to this, it threw me for a loop

  • My dream is to one day become a professional violinist and travel with orchestras around the world. I hope I can be as good as as Yo-Yo Ma or Stuart Duncan. They are my heroes. <3

  • @LiteratureNow I hope your dreams come true my friend. God bless you.

  • @hfikz You too. :)

  • This is so bad! These guys are total motherfuckers! How can anyone not love this? Wake up, America! This is REAL MUSIC.

  • 2:28 I just fell in love with four guys at the same time.

  • Comment removed

  • fuck it. i'll stand watching a commercial for this 0_0

  • Tom Hanks on double bass?

  • still loving this song, months later. breathtaking. soul filling.

  • excellent music loving it:D

  • Edgar Meyer is awesome! I've always enjoyed his music!

  • YO-MA MA

  • ATTTA BOYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a beautiful sound just 4 instruments can make...

  • Gave me shivers.

  • This song makes me want to make a boat and float away on a sea made of mountains

  • Brilliant... Just brilliant!

  • Anyone know where I can get the sheet music for this beautiful song? QwQ

  • I wonder how this would sound with a brass quartet.

  • Yo-Yo Ma goes into superior-ninja-complete-and-total-annihilation-omega-it's going down at 2:29.

  • Prodigies

  • I seriously have never been moved so much hearing a song. It's absolutely brilliant beyond understanding. The composition of this of song is fluid and makes me cry every time i hear it. Yo-yo's mids in the song are well incredible and calculated. I feel this fusion is some of the best of this decade and deserves to be recognized. I love this rodeo!!!!

  • 1:30 makes my heart explode in my chest, even after watching this video well over a hundred times. Incredible

  • It's beautiful. Like I can hear the wind singing cheers of hope!

  • rihanna "you da one" on the vevo. GTFO. so dumb

  • Edgar is my dads cousin, so I would suppose he is my second cousin. He is the one that turned me on to this music. How can you not just keep pressing the replay on this song? This is music at its purest form.

  • I have an uncontrolled need to start clapping at 2:44.

    Beautiful.

  • So, I just recorded a drum cover of this song, and put it as a video response. I had been listening to this song non-stop for three days, and the only way to get it out of my head was drum to it. Let me know what you think, I'd love for some feedback.

  • This is real music, kids.

  • Live, via satellite, this evening at the local theater here in little Victoria, Texas. All ABOARD!

  • The meaning of music is to give the listener an emotion that they can't feel any other way, than from the music itself.

  • i just got a shiver up my spine

  • Sigh... it's sad to see people who enjoy their craft so much overshadowed by the flashy, vapid souls often ruling the charts. We need more of *this*!

  • This is fantastic. Is that a mandolin?

  • Best! Amazing. Loved you lads on Stephen Colbert. Been a fan since. Brilliant!

  • This was the first song I heard from this Album (On the Colbert Report because I'm classy.) It reminds me of when I was growing up in the Midwest across from a wheat field, running around in the woods with my brother and my sister who has passed... makes me want to cry. It's way too beautiful.

  • @Kipicus I thought I was the only one :) I also saw this on Colbert Report and it reminded me of growing up in the south and taking long drives on country roads and running around acres and acres of open grazing land with my best friends. I am sorry for your loss

  • @88charlottegirl Hah! I live in the south now. There's some gorgeous nature here too. No wheat fields but I was once taken to a forest full of daffodils, and I live near a swamp full of wild life, I seriously don't know which place I appreciate more for it's beauty. And thank you. ^_^

  • this is one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard period. true genius

  • Justin Bieber- Baby: 649,351,495 views

  • @blubanana16 Dont worry man. Just feel like you have 144185 freinds in the world that loves this song.

  • @stabinferno 14485 classy friends

  • I love the CD. All of it. But, I must add that after absorbing a lot of the pictures from the CD and video posted on YouTube, that Stuart Duncan, with his Buddha smile (looking like he's in a perpetual state of grace) and gift of music - BLOWS ME AWAY! !

  • this deserves more views

  • good song. sounds like it could be zelda music

  • @AMano104 if you want some good Zelda music i suggest downloading Jean Luc Ponty's "The Gift Of Time" album. Literally played it all the way through my Zelda game on gameboy.

  • @drfunk1986 Jean Luc Ponty is a boss.

  • Love the sound of the cello in this song

  • @mikeor89 lol you really are a giant infant. I show u that my comment got a bunch of likes and u post that. such a ham

  • Why the hell is there an ad for Rihanna on this?

  • @jenningshenry32 because society is fickle. they tend not to appreciate art.

  • @aquaticwarrior Sad but true.

  • Like this if your under 18 and enjoy this amazing music because i need to be reassured this generation has a chance. This introduced me to a whole new side of music!! :)

  • @monkeyluver125 Dude, me too. I'm usually listening to hardcore and punk, but this blew me away. Fucking amazing.

  • sounds sooooooooooooooooo good

  • The iTunes version is slightly different, which throws me off all the time because I've listened to this version a hundred times before I bought it. Still very good though!

  • if the asian dude on the cello had a wolf tshirt on this would be perfect to me.

  • @aaitsjohnny do really not know who the,"asian dude," is?

  • 1:32

    too perfect.

  • I have been playing, especially, "Attaboy" and "Less is Moi" endlessly on my 2hr commute every day. Thanks guys; this is the coolest music.

  • Variety is the spice of life. That's why I have both this song and some rap from Wale in my Youtube favorites. Each is just as good as the other, just in different ways. Learn to appreciate everything, except maybe Brostep.

  • IS IT JUST ME OR DOES THIS RECORD NEED TO WIN EVERY AWARD THIS YEAR

  • @undertim16 Yes :D

  • So beautiful

  • 2:50 reminds me of harry potter. where they all go to the huge qudditich festival.

  • holy crap this is amazing

  • @mbedell2123 AHAHAHAHA

  • @mbedell2123 i lol'd. (yes)

  • @mbedell2123 Blow yourself and stop hating on this amazing music

  • This made me tear up like a little baby girl

  • You guys have done something amazing with this album.

  • Tune rocks hard.

  • This is beyond amazing.

  • anyone know which instrument yo yo ma is playing here?

  • @wasmachstdugern1 He's playing cello.

  • There's SO much passion in their performances! No prima-donna BS.

  • I have a very strong love and passion for music, and this right here is simply majestic!

  • how could someone dislike this?

  • @FernandoTorresL9 They're the ones that clicked the ad at the bottom to watch Rhianna sing "You Da One" and enjoyed it.

  • @FernandoTorresL9 Easily, I just did

  • @Ltpimp69 well then shame on you

  • @Ltpimp69 also, please see mikeor89's message below. I think it applies to you as well.

  • @FernandoTorresL9

LOLOL you can't lose in a conversation you dumb shit. holy shit your fucking stupid, just like your unoriginal posts.

  • @FernandoTorresL9 those people really just don't know what good music is, no other explanation.

  • Excellent!

  • Good Stuff!

  • Chris Thile looks like Jude Law!

  • What a joyous piece of music. Like its trying to describe the essence of spring, or the thrill of some first love. It borders on the sweet overspilling of mania in the bud.

  • It doesn't matter what "genre" you play in as long as you play with emotion!! Unreal watching these guys. Hats off to all!

  • Really love your music!

  • Thank you Stephen Colbert for showing me this

  • @soad50 Colbert Bump!

  • I realized i was late for life today...

  • my ears are bleeding

  • @lungfung37 It must be good blood

  • @lungfung37 in a good way?

  • We all ride our antique race bicycles to some large shady trees, perfect for slack lining. Its about 75 degrees, but a calm breeze cancels it out, and makes the leaves lightly flutter. All the friends and the girlfriend are here messing around with the slackline, Andy has the sound cube out, and starts playing some blue grass and Yo Yo Ma. The snowcapped mountains linger in the distance, and some mountain cyclists ride by, covered in mud, indulging in what summer has to offer.

    Harmony.

  • This is just totally Awesome!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I love listening to this w/ my eyes closed.. takes you in!

  • I wish you could dislike the dislikes...

  • Absolutely Brilliant.. i don't know what else to say..this is what art sounds like

  • Obsessed? I've only listened to it 99,000 times apparently. YouTube only counts my views, right?

  • when the cello comes back in with that theme around 4:20 i just about die of happiness.

  • this is how wood becomes metal.

  • real musicians making real music that sounds real good.

  • I've been playing their clips over and over for days.

Such a wonderful departure from all the racket we hear every day.

  • Some of the best music i have ever heard.

  • 2:26 This music's version of a dubstep breakdown. (wrong time last comment)

  • 2:29 This music's version of a dubstep breakdown.

  • i can't stop playing it, i'm in love!

  • the best part is it sounds as good live as it would on the cd.

  • @JackieNicoleSings I think it sounds better live than it does on the CD actually! :D

  • Its nice to know there are still REAL musicians making music. You just dont see bands like this anymore. Your really don't see people making great music for the love of it and not for money and record deals. There are too many bands like nickleback out there. This is real music.

  • @BluntmanAZ They have a record deal. Playing music for money

needn't degrade the art they produce. We all need to make a living.

  • @BluntmanAZ Yes these are real musicians, making truly amazing music. But who are you to say that mainstream bands like Nickleback aren't making real music. Music is simply an outpouring from the soul, whether its bluegrass, punk, jazz, rock, or electronic, it doesn't matter. All of them take passion and skill.

  • @EuphGuy321 no no no... some musicians are just tools for massive conglomerates of record labels to rake in the cash because they know the band will put out records that people want to hear (e.g. Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber) strictly because it is whats "hot right now". There is MOS DEF a difference between real music and commerical music. This is true heart and soul, talent music. Not pressing buttons on a computer and getting 12 year old girls to buy your records.

  • @BoBtheparrot7

While I agree with your general idea, I also have to disagree in one respect. Though I don't view Nickelback's music as any kind of "outpouring of the soul", who am I to say that it isn't really important and meaningful to them? *shrugs* There's always going to be that relative aspect to music, one of the things that has given us such a varied selection today.

  • @cedarhawk I get what you mean but its not up to you to decide if its important or meaningful. You make music for the fans that pay your bills and praise you as a writer/artist. Not some band that just plays techno beats and has a 15 year old white girl sing about how her life is so hard. I'm just tired of hearing artists that have no sense of the music that came before them.

  • I was late for school today.

  • @rVLysol Attaboy!

  • Attaboys!!

  • The only form of real love that exists is between me and this group

  • i was really happy 6:06 minutes ago. but now im sad

  • Music like this that makes me wish I had learned a string instrument instead of learning saxophone.

but DCI makes me wish I learned a brass instrument, so I guess it's all fair.

  • @sierramist66 To be fair, if you had played either of those instead of sax, jazz would have made you want to learn Saxophone.

  • @PiggyMcCult maybe, I'm not a huge fan of jazz though, but the possibility is there.

  • Absolutely stunning work, gentlemen. A gift to us all. Thank you.

  • I just got finished covering this...then I woke up.

  • beautiful violin intro at 1:32 :D and love the bass too!
