The question is not "How do you stop a superior species from integrating?" The question is "Why would you want to stop it from happening?" If they're truly superior, then they won't do what inferior but powerful species (us) do to others who are not as strong (enslave and subjugate). If the ETs are truly superior (mentally, AND spiritually), then they'll use their superiority to help and better us - not enslave. Nothing to be afraid of.

You can only go so far technologically if you are spiritually underdeveloped (which we, for the most part, are). Therefore, the only reason you say "this is a joke" is because you are not at the stage where you understand the deeper meaning of things. All in good time, however. I keep hearing this among some interested in UFOs/Aliens... that if they're super- intelligent and super technologically advanced, somehow they must be super MORAL and super spiritually enlightened. I say this is a joke. Unfortunately being smart or tech advanced does not mean you're a good person, and I don't think we should make any assumptions about other species being kind hearted just because they're "advanced"...

However, it's been rationally established that it is psycho/socio/spiritual COHESION and integration that allows a species to exist long enough to BECOME advanced. Otherwise, they kill themselves off and don't last. Therefore, the longer-living species (1million+years) are likely more advanced by virtue of this principal.
