  • Awesome catch! MNRR does this once every while right?

  • @gregorygrice Thanks man! Metro North never uses the Susquehanna for this sort of stuff. The only reason why they used the NYS&W was to swap out equipment that was running from Port Jervis to Harriman because Irene wiped out about 10 miles of track between Harriman and Suffern so they couldn't run their equipment on their own line. Last I've heard the Port Jervis Line will open on the 28 of November and there are no more of these moves scheduled on the NYS&W.

  • Great vid. I see you got this before the storm.

  • @YankeePat94 Thanks man! I actually went out for the second one during the storm, I didn't get any video though because a few seconds after getting out of the car the train passed over head and there was too much traffic to chase it.

  • Nice catch on the equipment move and on those MTA units running in elephant style and what a nice horn it had.

  • @SCL7500 Thanks man! I originally thought the second engine was backwards, that would've been insane to see but for the most part the engines on passenger railroads face the same way.

  • I saw the speeders and the MTA. MTA at main street Sparta and speeders at Rich's

  • @TheTrainHunters Cool, I think I saw you when I was driving across the tracks. Your speeder video should be cool.

  • Great catch!

  • @TheFlagman2 Thank you!

  • Thats sick dude! These move are pretty sick.

  • @KyleVideoDesigns Thanks man! Unfortunately they won't be around much longer.

  • @CSXACe Do you happen to know how many more weeks approximately it will continue to utilize the NYSW for these runs?

  • @therealJPeterman The Port Jervis Line is supposed to open up again on Novemeber 28. So maybe 2 more since they run every two weeks, but at least one more will happen.

  • @CSXACe They run two a weekend right (one towards Meadowlands, one towards Port Jervis), on the weekends that actually see the move?

  • Great catch!

  • @GenesisSanctuary Thanks man!
