If it is McDonald Creek, it would be the lower creek where it leaves Lake McD at the SOUTH end of the lake. But you are right ... it doesn't look like McDonald Creek ... strikes me as too sandy. I have swam in it for 35 of last 40 years, and I remember it being much more rock, as the sand gets carried out during high flows.
