@co19ff BTW.. those saying you get a better sound with a manual due to shifting at higher RPMs have a point. However, with a tune you can have your shift points raised, and get a better sound. My tuned 2004 Crown Vic with flowmasters sounds a hella lot better after being tuned.

@Renpolo +1....IMO v6 mustangs, camaros, challengers etc... are not muscle cars, muscle cars have v8's under the hood, even though i own a 2011 mustang v6 its a fast car, i have beat plenty of mustangs v8s but it doesnt sounds as good as a v8, and i proud of having a mustang v6 300hp+ and 30+mpg nothing beats that, i drive 60 miles a day thats way the new 5.0 wasnt on my list :( but hopefully i will get one in summer 2012 as my weekend beast :)

i got my new wheels and tires on a couple months ago and it looks so awsome! i have the chrome bullitt wheels with 315 sumitomo deep dish in the rear and regular 245 up front. i have a few centimeters between my tire and my tail pipe lol. i didnt think they would fit but they do. here's my mod list - jlt rai, bbk 78mm tb & plenum combo, o/r x with borla stinger catback, and 93 oct. tune from sct. mods to come 4.10 gears and 100 shot of n2o. by zex. good luck selling your car.

ICEStang, no clearance issues. I believe at the time this video was taken I had either the Nitto DR's or the Sumitomas on. Either way they were both 17x275 tires, even though the Nittos usually run a little wider, neither of them had any issues, even after the Steeda Sport Springs were on.

I agree a manual would bring out the sound, but sounds nice regardless. Borlas are going on my new ride!

see thats where you're wrong and how i know you now nothing about racing, which is why you got and auto. Any skilled manaul driver can shift faster than a stock ford auto. unless you have a race auto trans or a dual clutch manual auto trans, then i can shift faster than your 4 spd auto. i have an 03 gt 5spd manual. and no, they are not quicker cuz they are heavier and have one less gear, thus having longer gear ratios between gears and falling on its face after every shift.

the 5th gear is pointless in the ford 5 speed..all it basically is, is overdrive..when ive raced my friends 02 saleen non-supercharged he is barely pulling on me until he hits fifth and the car falls on its face and i easily pass it..and yes my car will shift faster than you can shift..ive custom tuned my diablosport predator and have drastically firmed and shortened the shift times

look at any new car's websites and you will see that 0-60 times are always faster on manuals then auto for a reason that you cant obviously understand. and your friend knows jack shit about racing a stang in manual, every one knows too NEVER shift into 5th, cars top speed can only be hit in 4th, so he's knows as much as you do in racing. NO your diablo wont make it shift faster, it reprograms the shift patterns as it does not change hardware.
