And mushroomhead started the pig masks and slipknot copyed off them with that the music style sound masks in general and Jeffery wore the crown of thorns to a consert and right after that consert Joey added it to his costume and the only reason why slipknot is more popular is cuz they accepted the record deal that mrh turned down before them
