@bahok123 I'm not sure if you're just a troll or literally too incompetent to read at least ONE page of comments on this video. The light has absolutely no effect on battery life. Turning the display on for a brief moment to check the time has a much larger effect on the battery life. I don't mod my phone for attention. I'm a very visual person so I like my products looking as cool and perfect as possible. I also don't understand your Best Buy reference.

I think this is really cool. Just like the ps3 controller mods with lit up buttons and joysticks;) but unfortunately the new update does suck the battery life if.... If you have a jail broken device. Animated wallpapers and themes widgets and moving icons. I'm actually gonna try to find this. Stupid huh?

They're all good products. I just happen to have a love for the products that Apple releases. Installing the LED glow was something I've wanted to do for a while. I can attest to the fact that it has absolutely NO effect on battery life. Come up with a better argument or take your negativity somewhere else.

I'm not saying where I got the light kit because it isn't a fantastic solution as well as the fact that they aren't selling them anymore. I highly doubt that they have this type of set up. A case with a light is much different than a light panel IN the phone that is connected to the display.

@darkburn1000 I'm not sure if you are aware of the battery consumption that LEDs use, but it is extremely low. This mod only uses a single LED diode. It uses as close to no battery consumption as you can possibly get.

i have this on my phone but the logo dose not stop glowing. even when i press the sleep button on on my iPhone the apple logo still glows. dose anyone know the solution to this?

@kadeemanthonybrown The light will stay on when there are apps that have incoming/outgoing data in the background. Try closing out of all of your apps in multi-tasking and see if that solves the problem. If not, you probably connected it wrong.

where did you place the brown wire? I heard that it shorts out the wifi if you place it in a certain place...

@HoboStudios I'm not sure what colors the wires were and I'm not about to open my phone at 3:30am to find out. =p The power should connect to the resister between the two golden rods on the logic board. The ground should be looped underneath a screw somewhere on the phone. I put my ground under the left screw of the EMI shield.

The backplate won't fully close because of thickness added by the LED panel. A simple solution is to get a bumper. That's what I did and it works perfectly!

@christianek1981 It's becasuse of the thickness of the LED panel. It doesn't allow the backplate to latch on like it should. The only fix would be a bumper/case or a redesign of the backplate to accommodate the extra thickness inside the phone. It does light up slightly unevenly, due to the LED panel only being lit from one side. Makes for a simpler install, but a slightly uneven lighting. Nobody that I've shown it to has even pointed it out.

Hey, does your back panel not close fully as well? Mine has a little gap in the top right corner (opposite side of the camera) and I've read that there's more people having this issue.
