That hand sign with the devil's horns, or whatever, seems to be used only by certain politicians and celebrities. I don't see anyone using it "on the street." I've never seen any explanation of what it means.

For example, everyone knew what the "peace symbol" was and the "peace sign," in the 60's and 70's. This one, though, I haven't read or heard anyone in the mainstream say "so-and-so is giving the (?) sign. It's creepy to see world leaders doing this at official events.
