Notice she has a pool that takes energy to light and pump, chemicals to keep clean, but it's really cute how she jokes about doing her laundry in it. Fuck this planet.
I'm writing a song about my Ural 4320 11ltr Diesel. It's got an integral generator, so no pedalling for auxiliary power. It smokes like a bastard but it sounds great when I gun it down to Glasgow, though
it's a bugger to find a big enough parking space in the town. I've not posted the song yet. Got a bit of fine tuning to do first.
Recently got a Ural 4320 based rocket launcher system Hail BM-21. Actually handles better than the standard model!
We hardly have any filament bulbs left in my house now, except in those touch sensitive 3 brightness setting lamps as most low energy bulbs can't vary their brightness well (dimmer switches etc) Actually in our kitchen, the 80 watt strip light got replaced by 4 x 40 watt filament bulbs, so I guess that's a step backwards in 'Green-ness'
if only they would instead promote bicycling as a means of everyday transportation. this is a nice thought, but using bikes for their intended use is immensely more beneficial for the environment, personal health, financial costs, and even the safety of everyone. bicycles are the most efficient land vehicle ever, and i think we should start by stop going to the gym and making your fat useful. keep in mind over 50% of all car trips in the U.S. are less than 2 miles.
There's a pedal power system called PPPM that's better than these bicycle-based systems. Cheaper to make, and provides more power for the calories consumed.
It is not regulated, so if you pedal to fast you will fry whatevery it is you are trying to power. These bikes have a regulated output of 14.8 Volts DC.
yea, I wouldn't recommend use of a dc generator, becuz alternators are more efficient, and are always outputing around 12 volts. However, on alternators, u have to get them up to speed, then energize the fields, or else it won't work. With a generator, you can just start pedaling.
it get worse and worse the green scare/fashion. with 'really good" ideas. it is mostly a scam to get people to buy inefficient crap.
face it. u wanna exercise buy a bike or whatever, if u want power but wanna go green, GO NUCLEAR. simple, but they all got scaremongered and lied to by the greenorists and believ its not safe. the truth is it is safe and clean and only getting better.
It takes overall as much energy to set up, run, and decomission a nuclear power station as it produces. PLUS it's there for our future generations to suffer from for thousands of years.
NO NUCLEAR! NUCLEAR IS NOT THE ANSWER! Selfish assholes.

We hardly use any filament bulbs any more - all low energy.
Except in those on, medium, bright off lamps as most low energy bulbs don't produce variable brightness well - they flicker

Yes thats a nice idea if you live in California, but not so much in Ohio.

I agree with you, you are perfectly right. Why don;t people use bikes more ? I think that they're too narrow minded.

Nuclear is a clean, efficient, entirely viable option.

i know it is... these people commenting you down are idiots.
For me thou, off the grid generation is the goal I say lessen the demand for power by creating your own.
In the future I could envision a healthclub that has everything in it harness people energy.
