@568812 I too, oppose the bill. The bill allows them to arrest "suspected" terrorists. They softened the language giving the president the right to put that into place and to issue waivers. Keep in mind that all bills passed and signed by the President can be overturned by the Supreme Court and MANY pieces of legislation signed by Presidents have been overturned. FDR had tons of stuff overturned. So I am hopeful that this legislation is greeted with the same fate.

There are multiple reports of large planes leaving the country about the same time as Sadam was evicted, he even said many times that he was moving WMD's out of the country.
Oil production hardly rose or fell because of the war, if it was for oil than it was not productive.

@568812 I too, oppose the bill. The bill allows them to arrest "suspected" terrorists. They softened the language giving the president the right to put that into place and to issue waivers. Keep in mind that all bills passed and signed by the President can be overturned by the Supreme Court and MANY pieces of legislation signed by Presidents have been overturned. FDR had tons of stuff overturned. So I am hopeful that this legislation is greeted with the same fate.
