I started watching it since last 3 weeks on BBC HD telecast every Sunday. This is beautiful serial and I love the story and location. This shows the real richness of Africa and I want to visit once to see real Africa.

I'm amazed so few people watched this series. Everyone wants quality television, but no one watches it when it appears. This series absolutely enchanted me on every level, even to the point where I hope to someday travel to Botswana.

I was just introduced 2 1 of these books about 3yrs ago here in Switzerland & fell in LOVE w/ it! Found out really by accident that there was actually a series but, never saw it until I just searched it on YouTube. Thanx SO MUCH 4 the uploads! Will u be uploading anymore episodes? PLEASE say yes, I'm already in love w/ the 1st 1! Sad 2 find out it was canceled after only 1 season. People r lacking in quality TV appreciation, I guess. God bless.

Une très bonne série, que j'ai découverte sur Arte ce mois-ci. Dommage que la VF soit si mal doublée ! Ça fait plaisir d'avoir un aperçu de la VO : merci de l'avoir mise en ligne ! C'est vraiment une série originale et ambitieuse, qui a des valeurs à défendre et les défend bien, sans oublier sa bonne humeur. Et Jill Scott joue très bien. J'espère qu'il y aura une suite !

mais le doublage français est lamentable, personne ne parle comme ça là bas ou ailleurs, la version original n'a rien a voir je te la conseille

Le doublage est souvent un problème et j'avais déjà imaginé qu'il pouvait s'agir d'un doublage artificiel, ne pas correspondant à la réalité.

Mais, comme mes connaissances d'englais sont limitées, je ne peux pas me réjouir de la version originale et le français de la série est très facile à comprendre. En tout cas tu as raison: tout en étant de langue maternelle italienne, je constate les mêmes horreurs à mon tour avec les doublages en italien.

Since I don't want to risk having the first (best) episode of the series taken down from Youtube, I have decided to play it safe by stopping all further uploads of subsequent episodes of TNLDA.
