This might be their best written song ever. And yes I have heard all of their stuff. While I love stuff like "About an Hour Ago", "City on Down", etc, there is something about this song where everything comes together. It has it all: strong melody, sax, great lyrics, and a wicked song structure.

I was in Iraq and OAR came and played. It was just after we lost a lot of men in a helicopter crash. They were very supportive and dedicated the show to the survivors from the platoon.

Needless to say it was a very special night and I am an OAR fan for life. 52/50 resonates with me. It is a magical song and captures the essence of going to war and missing your lover and home.

This song will always remind me of a special time in my life that holds great sadness and great joy.

The version of this song off of "Live from Madison Square Garden" might just be the most powerful version of any song they've ever released. The entire second half of the song is so strong that I get chills every time I listen to it. Easily one of my favorites they've ever released.

Stories of a Stranger in my opinion was a bit of a letdown (compared with the perfect In Between Now and Then). But they made the right choice to have this as the last track on the album. It leaves a great taste in your mouth since this is quite easily one of the best songs they've ever made.

personally, O.A.R is one of my favorite bands. I've seen a lot of great live shows, dmb, metallica, petty, the black crowes etc.. O.A.R is hella nice live.. seen em a buncha times.. they are more appealing to a younger crowd yes.. but if you're a true fan of music, you can appreciate all aspects of this band.

I like this comment very much, I am a true fan, I have seen this band live and they are awesome, one of my favs ever and I am 54 years old. My grandson has loved this band since he was two, he is five now and still asked me to play O.A.R. Like the new album, was very glad to hear they are still doing it.
