@HAQ75 Hunderds of nations used flame-throwers on ships. They where a very effective weapon in naval warfare perticularly notably used it during a siege in 434 BC.

Later it was equipped to some Greek Warships. It's development came at a Critical time for the Byzantine Empire who was losing a war against muslim invaders and had rapidly lost it's cities. It's development effectively turned the war around single handed. It even helped them hold off 2 sieges.

Most certainly Yes.

Think about it...

The ships are made of wood and once set on fire the ship is near impossible to be put out. So you either abandon the ship or die because you have no effective means of putting it out. In addition, imagen the psychological effect during such a time period. Seeing a ship go up in flames in a matter of seconds would have a massive demoralising effect.

Similarly the Crusaders took it a step further with demo ships.

seamus when i played brother hood i didnt use any other weapon besides the assassin blades because they are faster against your enemys than anyother weapon in the game such as the axe you are using so use the hidden blades (:
