I was originally thinking that no Paper Mario game could stand up to The Thousand-Year Door (in fact, I'm working on a Minecraft machinima based on it :P). And while Paper Mario 3DS looks to have simplistic colors compared to TTYD or SPM, it looks really polished, and the 3D effect is gonna be epic for this.

The Thousand year door is one of my favorite games of all time. from this trailer it all seems a little too happy. ik that sounds weird but one of the elements that made the older games better was that eerieness to some of the levels. the floating city for example with the fighting tournament. there were evil people that you didnt really expect. and same with the creepiness of that halloween-like place with the ghost guy in that castle. and on a different note, is this only for DS? :(

@PineappleBootKamp No actually Sega was the first company to perfect online gaming the Sega Genesis was the first console with online capabilities and it actually worked really good it was just way ahead of its time and not many people used it, and Wii has way better games than 360, the only good games for 360 are Fable, Lost Odyssey, and Gears of War, Wii's got Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Resident Evil 4, Tales of Symphonia, Smash Bros., the list goes on Wii only lacks HD.

And Sega did perfect online gaming just because it wasn't used doesn't mean it didn't work right.

@PineappleBootKamp Demand can't go down if it was never up, the only time Microsoft had decent console sales was with the original Xbox it gave PS2 some decent competition and Gamecube was like Nintendo's only failure, but Xbox 360 sales have always been lower than PS3 and Wii, and rightly so Wii is number one because it is the most family oriented and PS3 is number 2 because its hardware is better than 360's in every possible way.
