I was wondering if you could help me,I was wondering when freezing water to make a solid (ice) is it best to freeze slower or faster (colder) if i want less crystal formation in the sample? Im using just a home freezer with basic settings but my samples keep coming out really crystaline and have many cracks.I want them to be as pure looking as possible.Hope you can help
What the hell is a "nucleus particle"? Isn't a nucleus (I.e. Center) just part of a particle.
They took a bubble of soapy water, probably at half a degree Celsius, and dropped a sub-zero temperature particle on the surface causing the surrounding water to freeze.
@aeopmusic a nucleus particle is exactly what the guy in the video says :) a particle that triggers the formation of a crystal (in this case, those tiny white particles)
which are the element used in this experience? i'd like to made it myself but i don't know what produces are used in that. Like the white powder and the liquide he is using :D
I found it to be a rather short video. Not satisfied with the outcome of the length of the video. But the footage and information was impressive 10/10!
