If you want a movie with a little bit of character development and storytelling, and a creepy atmosphere, then I recommend this movie. But if you're more into cheap scare, nonsensical and excessive use of blood and guts, then stay away from this one.

Very good movie. A reason I don't like the oscars is that they tend to Nomminate movies that are dramatic and not usually horror. Horror movies are amazing. some may not seem great but look at this. The Blair Witch Project's acting was incrediabal but they were not nominated. It made me upset. I also dont like how horror movies have AMAZING make-up and costumes but are rarely nominated. The Ring's make-up, for example was incredibal but was never nominated.

I am a huge horror fan. I saw almost all the films in this festival.

The Abandoned was not only the best in the festival, but is the best horror film to come out in over 10 years. The trailer does not do it justice. It will be a classic. I hope it is distributed well.

This was part of Horrorfest and was one of the most atmospheric, pulse pounding films ever made. Not for General American Horror Audiences who like Sarah Michelle Gellar films or Japanese people with painted faces. This film is a Masterpiece of Modern Cinema.

that whole "Too Graphic To Be Released" is all bullshit its just a way to attract more people, and the way in which they rate movies these days have gotten gayer and gayer over the years i will bet you a million bucks that none of these movies have more gore than "Day Of The Dead"

This looks very stupid. I don't even think it's part of 8 Films To Die For. I know the web said that their is a movie part of the fest called the abandoned, but i don't think this is it. It just seems to stupid to be "too graphic to be released". And what ever happened to "Wicked Little Things"? Haven't ever seen a trailer for that!

I'm sort of wondering the same thing but I did see the trailer of "Wicked Little Things" on the website but anyways, I agree with you, I'm a little skeptical that this is one of the videos. It didn't show that After Dark thing in the beginning.
