The new Dodge Challenger looks like an awesome car that would be fun to drive, but I'm surprised that in this day and age, with rising gas prices and the issue of alternative fuel, that new muscle cars like this are being developed again. I thought the same thing about the restyled Ford Mustang that debuted in 2005. You have to wonder how much gas these things guzzle.

no not really, the charger r/t puts out 350 HP but the R/T Challenger puts out 370 HP becasuse of the variable more defined cam timing, it also has more increased airflow then the charger R/T

the cheapest model has 250 horses w/ (im guessin 140 on the dash), it has 250 lbs of torque and 6800 RPM's so u do the math...it will prolly put out 115-125 for a top speed but its only a V6 so....if u want speed go with the R/T or SRT8 but the base model will be real affordable
