Ivana is a very talented gymnast, and does need to improve as all gymnasts do. I really am not liking her transition to the woga style. THe style looks too Nastia, and she tries making everything so perfect that it is stiff. Also, I think she has to adjust to her new body cause I think she lost some of her flexibility.
Can you people stop bashing this gymnast. She is beautiful and in my opinion more elegant than Liukin. Liukin Cannot even perform a DTY , Ivana can. She has more power.
I wish Nastia was there. I mean Bridget Sloan was good at the AA but it wasen't a big competition, she would have had NO chances if some top all arounders like nastia liukin shawn johnson yang yilin..... would be there.
Full turn could be better, needs more toe point and more control. Sheep jump was well not good= no credit. Dismount bent knees into the setup, and probably caused the low landing/step at the end. otherwise good routine.. Ivana can improve and I hope she has a great competition in EF
Something about her style of gymnastics I don't like... I think it's the fact that she can't sell a routine for her life, you can give her the Nastia moves and choreography but it just doesn't work. This routine is so cookie cutter, it doesn't make you say wow quite like other gymnasts in the EFs do, like Lauren Mitchell's. Plus, I'm surprised that she was sent as a specialist considering that while she doesn't have a weak event nor does she have a strong event.
lol I can't believe I got 6 "thumbs down" already for an honest critique of the routine. Just because she didn't fall off doesn't equate to a "nice set".
Never contradict a fan :-) Even when you know you're absolutely right: she's never going to medal in international meets with a routine so poorly performed. Now I'm gonna get a zillion thumbs down,
I didn't think the routine was poorly performed, but does lack difficulty. But gymnatics is a funny sport .. sometimes slow and steady wins the race :-)
She is going to have to improve to medal in event finals. I haven't seen her bars video but I'm sure that didn't go to well. It really suprised me that she was selected as a bars specialist for worlds as it has historicall been her weakest event. She is a good all around gymnast but doesn't really stand out on any events. If I had to pick one that was her best though it would be beam.
Nice set! But she'd better change her "switch ring" to a switch leap. She'll never get credit for a switch ring if she performs it like; it's better to lose 0.2 off her D score than lose 0.5 off her E score.

It is better, butI think she should take it out, it will never be considered a 90º spin, her leg really reaches 90º after ¼ of the turn
