funny we have that same set up but its drop deck and we dont use those cross bars to hold the load just up and down 2 bars that holds the roof that it. Oh I almost forgot we are in the USA southern California.

WHY? very easy to use. also great for dropping loads in via a crane (as you can remove the roof) unlike taughtliners.
