Sugar is a perfect example of how personal life can get mixed in with the game strategics. No matter how much of a player you are, forces from your personal life can change your whole regard for the game. For sugar, that came in the form of bob, who she took to be her father in the game substituting the father she lost. And it's perfectly understandable why she gave the win to Bob on a silver platter. C'mon guys, this is perfect family show material! This is the season I would let my kids watch!

SPOILER WARNING OF FUTURE SEASONS!!! It's interesting how everybody say that Sugar was the mastermind in this season and then she was the first person voted off in S20 because she was weak in every possible way. That only tells either that a) She was lucky this season, b) It was only edited that se was in control or c) The others were weaker.
Bob deserved it. Sugar may have played strategically but also she played with a lot of emotions (e.g. forcing a fire starting tie breaker so that Bob can be in F3). Bob played more of a social game and maybe a "physical" game in challenges. Had it not been for his winning streak, he would not have been here. Susie stayed under the radar but she only made so few good moves and can be easily ignored when it comes to the F3. Susie is NO Sandra.

Anyway, all I was trying to say was that playing with a set strategy that gets you further in the game will not mean you will win at the end, as many seasons have shown. Why is my view so controversial here? I'm just saying jury votes are important to think about the entire game. Sugar didn't seem to think much about jury votes. .... The winner of each season is the person who gets the most jury votes... Sugar only got one vote, and that's how well she played the game this season - simple as that. She may have controlled the moves, but she did not come off as classy or sincere, and the jury hated her. How is she more deserving to win if everyone IN the game doesn't like her?!

@patinthehat Just because a jury hates somone or is jealous, so they vote for the other person, doesn't have anything to do with how well of a game they played. That's the catch, you can play a great strategic game, but a few bad sports will vote for the person that they hate the least.

@MRredhotlava How well someone plays the game is based on how many jury votes they get, simple as that. That is unless you consider how well someone plays independently of how the people awarding the winner feel about that someone. If you can't agree with that, we're clearly watching a different game where the winner (the person who played the best) is not crowned based on jury votes...

@patinthehat Dude my point is that being a kiss ass who was everyone's favorite douche (Bob) is not a good strategy. Sugar played WAY harder and looking at it from the original standards of the game, where people respected good game, Sugar would have won. Think of it back in Borneo, Kelly was better friends with almost everyone on the jury, but they put that aside and admitted that Richard had been playing hard the whole time, no matter how pissed they were at him or didn't like him as much.

Sugar was strategically better then Bob, but its not only about being the stratetigic person. i liked bob from day one.. he just jumped in to the game liked to work with His hands, basically was the main builder of the camp.. He put in His efford as team player.. that in the end i quess made Him favorable with the others... sugar herself was about strategy but did manage way less on her own
@patinthehat I like your point about adapting to win. Sometimes you can play a hard game and the players will respect that, or sometimes they will hate you and not vote for you. It all comes down to reading the players that are in your particular season. If you don't do that, your chances of winning are significantly reduced.

THE WINNER SUCKED. The thing is, he didnt even give sugar any credit for forcing a tie and bringing him to top 3. When jeff asked him the secret of his success, he just answered: BY BEING NICE AND NECESSARY lol. He didnt even thank sugar or gave credit to her for his winning. She basically handed him the millions. When susie won the last immunity, bob just sulked and accepted his fate that he would be voted out next, did not even do anything until sugar told him she will force a tie to help him.
@MrInhibitor Paschal from Survivor: Marquesas was never voted for, but he was eliminated because of the infamous "Purple Rock" twist that took place in the final four that season.
bob has got to be one of the most undeserving winners in the history of the game in terms of the people in the final four with him, for god's sake-
Sugar- was the huge mastermind this whole season, she had to make some tough decisions and did a lot of the dirty work and played the game full on the entire time, she couldn't get a vote though because of who was on the jury which i think is tragic
Susie- played an extremely impressive game of staying under the radar and stayed safe always!!!

I can't stand Bob and his fricking bowtie when I know for a fact he took his chance and embarrassed the sad young lady who just lost her father, when he had the chance to blame someone else for his cheapshot on Rudy. Worst season, ever. And Sugar played the best game, for sure. Crappy casted jury who couldn't give her credit for it.
Bob deserved to win. Two fake immunity idols are things that no one would have thought it could have happen and he pulled it off to fool the others, especially Randy's blindside. Sugar literally committed suicide with her speech and obviously she lets Bob get all the credit while she takes the beating for him. Probably her father's death influenced her to help Bob to win. Susie is just happen to be way too lucky and made it this far and she is only being good as a follower. (Like Sandra from PI)

Mr Crowley is one of the most deserving winners ever in this game. 2 fake idols, 5 immunity challenges in a row and genuinely seems like a hell of a nice guy.
i thought the same thing at first but basically the jury members seemed pretty set on voting based on their old tribes. the 3 Fang members had to decide between Susie & Sugar and ultimately they just liked Susie better. the final tribal council voting for this season wasn't very interesting
actually if you look at other seasons and listen to how others answered their jury speeches then you will see that susie answered the jury questions amazingly

@3eau2aniel I'm only guessing you were rooting for Sugar then... but as we have heard from the interviews from the jury members, Sugar wasn't really that great that she was seen on TV...
She basically told them not to vote for her. If you don't want Jurors to vote for you, well, then you don't get their votes. Besides, she WOULD have won in a Crystal/Susie/Sugar scenario, but she didn't realize it. Had she tried to get that F3, she would have been the most deserving, but she threw her game away them moment she started to play for Matty/Bob and eliminated Crystal.

Sugar was strategically better then Bob, but its not only about being the stratetigic person. i liked bob from day one.. he just jumped in to the game liked to work with His hands, basically was the main builder of the camp.. He put in His efford as team player.. that in the end i quess made Him favorable with the others... sugar herself was about strategy but did manage way less on her own

@patinthehat I like your point about adapting to win. Sometimes you can play a hard game and the players will respect that, or sometimes they will hate you and not vote for you. It all comes down to reading the players that are in your particular season. If you don't do that, your chances of winning are significantly reduced.

THE WINNER SUCKED. The thing is, he didnt even give sugar any credit for forcing a tie and bringing him to top 3. When jeff asked him the secret of his success, he just answered: BY BEING NICE AND NECESSARY lol. He didnt even thank sugar or gave credit to her for his winning. She basically handed him the millions. When susie won the last immunity, bob just sulked and accepted his fate that he would be voted out next, did not even do anything until sugar told him she will force a tie to help him.

Sugar- was the huge mastermind this whole season, she had to make some tough decisions and did a lot of the dirty work and played the game full on the entire time, she couldn't get a vote though because of who was on the jury which i think is tragic
Susie- played an extremely impressive game of staying under the radar and stayed safe always!!!

Bob deserved to win. Two fake immunity idols are things that no one would have thought it could have happen and he pulled it off to fool the others, especially Randy's blindside. Sugar literally committed suicide with her speech and obviously she lets Bob get all the credit while she takes the beating for him. Probably her father's death influenced her to help Bob to win. Susie is just happen to be way too lucky and made it this far and she is only being good as a follower. (Like Sandra from PI)

It would have been a great season if the cast weren't a bunch of idiots.

Besides, she WOULD have won in a Crystal/Susie/Sugar scenario, but she didn't realize it.
