  • INFO TO ANYONE WATCHING THIS: this craft similar to V-22 has interlinked engines via driveshaft and central gearbox. an Engine fails then one engine drives both rotors.

existing technology in all wheel drive vehicles but this one allows power from 2 engines and power from any single engine.

  • @nakazatoGTR Thank you for this input. Of course this applies as well to all multi engine helicopter as well as the Chinook, having drive shafts and gearboxes that can be used to swop over drive from any engine to any Prop. :D

  • @dave20thmay well so many similar questions like those, whenever i watch vids of tiltrotors. educating people is a must.

  • can it do autorotations if engine fail (both) when heliflying?

  • @sdrfgvrfgvsfravgdsvS I hope that someone is able to answer this. The chances of both engines failing on any jet aircraft are made to be impossible. Things like the computers that control the engines are from different manufacturers. When you work on the plane engines, you as an engineer can't do the same job on the other engine, even after you've got all the tools and equipment to do your side.

Back to the question, I would doubt that it could auto rotate in the sense that a helicopter can.

  • Thank you for the info. will have to start saving. David

  • The price isnt finalized yet but it will cost around $10,000,000

  • how much one of these?

  • I wish I had the money to buy one of these.
