He spawned closer to the mountain on the back side of the ring. He flew directly over top of the pit where I grabbed him and dragged him to where you see him die.
You didn't forget, you just went in panic mode and just wanted that kill! :P I did the same, but yet, I failed when i dismounted, so I couldn't cast my flame shock and a mage took it on my way down to the ground. Never in my life i've feeled like such a failure. :(
240 hours of camping now (total), 56 vyragosa (about 20 of them was corpse), and 2 dead protos, one alive. =/ Let the hunt continue..
I don't usually reply much on my videos, but because I know that hunting the TLPD is especially frustrating I thought it was important to do so.
I can appreciate your situation; I now have this mount on my Main (Mage) and my alt (Shaman). In my total experience camping this I have lost the proto twice, first on my shaman by a few mins and then on my Mage by a few SECONDS!!!! I know how that feels.
Here is what I did... I bought external speakers (normally use a headset) and got NPCScan. I turned the volume way up and camped the area over the huge hole in SP. I also made sure to turn off alarming on Vyra so I would not get a false alarm. Then I waited.... took 3 days but finally the alarm went off and I ran into the office to kill him. Just wish I had hit F9 before I attacked.
