also it's quite risky using only generals, as if the general dies, then the unit will be gone as well. A lucky ballistae in the first 5 seconds of the game can spell doom for the unit after the battle. but since you don't want these generic generals, by all means KILL ALL WHO OPPOSE THE CHEAP BLOB!

@TOMBuster13 It's a fairly infrequent mistake to be honest and my losses look like a lot since I lose so few on average. I'll be more proactive in protecting them though.

You shouldn't march your generals out of you cities!

They keep public order and increas the income the town generates!

Moving them out costs you more money!

@teun557 They've reduced the impact that chivalry and other traits have on the cities, so that's really moot. If they were fully skilled governors, the bonus would still be minimal. The economy has been immensely nerfed in 3.0.
