The local firefighters came to my school to let us see and go in one of thier fire engines and when i was in i asked them to turn on the flashing blue lights,and then one said,see that button on the floor,can you push it please,so i pushed it and guess what,on comes the siren.
@FOGBIT44 Nah, the old fashoined two tone horn ALL the way man, MUCH more effective!You try driving an old landrover, you simply cannot hear these electric things over the engine, you can a two tone horn!
Regardless whether you're walking or driving [even in one of Solihulls best!] I think it's damn hard to tell the whereabouts of the electronic sirens. The two tone horns can be pin pointed straight away!!

Germans have best engines and sirens. We have an German fire ladder Mercedes Actros Type. And it's one animal of truck.
