This guy is just one more face in an endless line of jive false hope merchants. I've spent a good # of years working as a church musician, and these preachers are, unfortunately, a dime a dozen. Always impeccably groomed, always too quick with some sort of prophetic 'word', always assuring the faithful that some sort of blessing is just around the corner. Their whole bit is emotional, not spirtual.

I agree to some extent. I do not know this guy so I can't say much about him per se. I'd have to hear if this is all he preaches or if he also preaches the other side of the gospel...the "count the cost and persecution and they will hate you side". We need to stop promising people that everything will be great and wonderful and rich and plenty.  It may be, it could be, but it is not the purpose of the gospel.
