It does not touch upon any supposed design of the veggies themselves.
Further, your argument that god designed the veggies and such is not an argument amenable to science, as science doesn't admit to supernatural actions. Science has shown that all the various plans and possibilities among the vegetables and fruits are possible without gods influence, using purely natural means to attain all the features that they now have. Not a few of these features, in fact, were produced by the same natural methods using artificial selection rather than natural selection,.
God created those foods and He is the one who opens the opportunities for farming them to greater potentials. Without God's mercies there would be no supermarkets, it was not man who created but God and it is STILL God who provides.

Who knows? I presume it is healthy. Humans who eat a diet consisting mostly of plants tend to be.
