@MsFinndian4 HPV is virtually undetectable, and I am niave to think that most HIV and AIDS is spread by people who are unaware. I recieved an STD from a boyfriend who was only a carrier, he had no symptoms and we were young, went to the clinic AFTER we decided we were going to be active. We both were treated. Unprotected sex is dangerous wheter tubes are tied or not. I hate the dating world. But everyone my age wants family, I understand!

@MsFinndian4 ...so its ok for her to spread STD's like HPV and AIDS and other undetectable diseases? It is never ok to have unprotected sex if you want to get all technical and biblical. Sex is for procreation. If you believe life begins at conception then the argument you make seems off. After the 1st child she should have been tested to ensure she was carrying a healthy baby or I think she should have terminated regardless, because she had her hands full with one special child.

Exp-laing to family and such that you don't want the job of parent is HARD because ppl seem to make me feel like I am a "bad" person for not pro creating. @MsFinndian4 you are absolutelyy right, she did say she wanted normal kids. How selfish of her. I don't advocate murder because you can't afford a baby, or you don't like what hand you were dealt. I am simply stating my truth. I don't know one person who would willingly adopt two autistic children. The family's I know of who (could afford, and desired) adopted children, were very particular about their preferences, and are also quite far above poverty level. I am just stating my reality.

@MsFinndian4 just because you can carry a baby, doesn't make you a mother. You could never understand a woman without maternal instincts because you have had yours all your life. I would never hurt a child, but I also won't ever have my own...not everyone is capable of admitting they do not need to parent. Ppl raise their children EXPECTING, and instructing them to breed one day, and some of us, just weren't meant to...its quite a hard thing to overcome without feeling like a "bad" person.

IMO: 2 children born to a religious woman, incapable of the idea of abortion methodically chose to kill her kids after struggling to come to terms with the fact that she felt they were "broken" & had no chance at decent quality of life. What is mom to do with 2-6 year olds that are not wanted? when men make that decision, they move & don't get charged. Mom's get huge social stigma. She also should receive the death penalty, cause I feel she is broken and has no quality of life left

@cincinnatikate And just another example of how culture diversity will never work in the USA........countless foreigners do not understand nor do they want to conform to our ways and laws.

In the US they have many, many social programs that could have helped this mother......I get so tired of hearing that they felt there was no way out for them other that the ultimate sacrifice of killing their own children. There are plenty of responsible people out there that would have loved to adopt them.

@TyneRoseMedia I hate to disagree. there are NOT plenty of ppl wanting to adopt 2 autistic middle eastern children here. Foster perhaps, but not adopt. I am not saying there was no other way out, I am just saying, what does a mom do when she wants to QUIT? Regardless, she was going to jail, now I think ppl believe goes to hell as well.

@cincinnatikate Plenty of responsible people would have wanted to adopt them than rather see them dead.....but you are right....there is no long line to adopt children that seem broken. Still there are many social services that would have taken them in and you are right that would have probably resulted in the children being in Foster care......a much better solution than the mother's no doubt.
