But Hillsong is only trying remove all traces of him to protect their record sales.

These Charismatic's promote the forgiveness line because they are always being caught stealing or having sex with someone..

i think you are going off-track here with your "examples". Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker etc has nothing to do with Hillsong. don't just add names to make the list long. You also need to understand one thing. The bigger a church gets, the more problems there are going to be. This is the same in any organisation/group.This is not to say what Mike did wasn't evil. I was one of the first to condemn him. But after thinking about it, he was not "exposed". but rather came clean to his father and police.

We need to wait and see if Mike's repentance was sincere. I am mostly concern on the passive Christians and evil silence that the Church and Christians nowadays operate whenever sins like this happen. There is no clear repentance from the Church neither wishes to seek God for guidance. People think that Jesus is a machine of forgiveness that they can use it as a gas station and then continue with their life.

First of all, Mike made a mistake. It did not involve Hillsong. There is no point crucifying Hillsong as the problem was within Mike all along.

Secondly, I'd say you can't generalize Christians by just one Christian who made a mistake. If so, are you implying that Christians SHOULD be perfect?
