@natemeyer91 The thing is that this is fractal geometry who means it is a mathematical code and nothing who someone has actually drawn.

@natemeyer91 I rendered this same sequence in 1920x1080 at 30 fps in 20 minutes. That's ~3 fps realtime on a mid-level AMD 5850 GPU.

Graphics cards these days are crazy powerful and this type of rendering hits their sweet spot.

Rays are reflected at most twice if I remember correctly in this rendering. Probably just a 2x slowdown over no reflections.
