As a veteran I find it absolutely ridiculous how today we coddle our damned soldiers, sailors and airmen. This is life. Get over it. If you thought is was going to be a cushy ride and a great paycheck you were wrong. Do your damned job and serve your time. Even my generation was a bunch of wimps. The last generation to amount to anything was my Dad's generation and he fought in WWII.

@twday77: I am a WWII VOLUNTEER Submarine Veteran who served 2 1/2 years in the Pacific.

Our sub sank many Japananese war vessels including the largest merchant marine

ship they owned!

Todays young men are ALL volunteers and I respect them for serving their/our

country. Remember, they are YOUNG and sometimes they are likely to

"engage mouth without engaging brain". Of course, if you have never done this, you are then free to criticize!

I love the shift in music just as the B25 zooms in. It adds a certain feel to the footage like the B25 is sneaking up on the 17...

The 17 is one of my favourite aircraft. It's just so beautiful.

Superb quality video - almost defies belief, the quality is so good. Contrary to what a previous writer said, WW2 was NOT the last war the US won. The US was an important part of a team that included other countries and was led by Britain.

This is the last war which was fought by the men and women on the line, not in the halls of Congress and in the Newspapers. That's why we won it, and why we aren't doing so well now. The men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan KNOW we are winning over there, but Congress and the press have to get out of the way and let them do their job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!

When I was a young teenager I did some volunteer work for this group at several air shows. When I turned 18 they were back in town and gave me a flight to their next stop. One of the most amazing experiences of my life!
