I got this in a Steam sale for about £3.75, which is excellent. The game is damn hard though.

@az0zaLT sry man but you're not a real gothic fan :| ... g4 is just a shit ... no staves boring gameplay 3 spells boring/weird story .... idiotic voice acting .... crappy map .... bad looking weapons ( i mean the weapons don't really look like gothic .. they are just repetitive and boring ) .... idiotic combat system i mean you can't turn when you are using the shield ... and he blocks arrows with his back.... and rolling isn't that fun when you do it again and again and again .... so it sucks.

with all due respect to Bioware and Bethesda, NO other RPG has given me athe feeling of an adventure as exciting as Gothic did. Forsaken Gods was a disappointment, but i hope this edition will make it worth getting again

Hab den 3. Teil bestimmt 5mal durchgezockt. Die Erweiterungt war wirklich schrecklich. Aber was die Jungs aus diesem riesen Bug hier hergezaubert haben sieht wirklich super aus!

Also signisfikant besser finde ich die Graphik nun nicht. Insbesondere die Darstellung des Wassers ist eher schlechter denn besser geworden.

Das Wichtigste aber ist, dass das Spiel endlich weitgehend bugfrei wird!

Hoffentlich geht Jowood bald pleite damit die Lizenz frei wird, damit die keine Gothic-Parodie mehr rausbringen. Mal sehen wie sich das mit Götterdämmerung entwickelt, für mich ist Gothic mit Gothic 3 abgeschlossen.

@DiegoTryloyd Auf jeden Fall. Die Community hat das spielen von Gothic 3 erst möglich gemacht. Ohne die Patches hätte ich niemals auch nur ein Babywildschwein getötet. Bei Skyrim war es ähnlich, lauter CTDs die erst durch einen Mod beendet wurden. Jedenfalls sind diejenigen die da selbstständig dran arbeiten einfach meine Helden :)

Story is made by Spellbound so what you want to change there? Better don't playing Forsaken Gods if you don't like the Arcania-Plot

Es handelt sich um einen Patch und um kein neues Spiel.

Dass an der Story nichts geändert werden würde, wurde schon oft genug gesagt. Es ging um Bug und Fehlerbehebungen. Wenn Dir das Spiel nicht gefällt, musst Du es ja nicht spielen. Nur für viele waren die ganzen Bugs ein Dorn im Auge.

@czesio1234567890 They are correcting only bugs of the game. But maybe will sometime somebody make quests like humanforce's Questpaket for Gothic 3. (I'm answering in german because writing in polish is to complicated for me^^)
