@tiasarahellielorna God created everything. Anything that is "discovered" God already knows. There's no way to overcome God. He is the Sovereign God. If you don't believe me, try crying out to Him and asking Him to save you. Jesus died for sinners like you and me. I don't think you want to spend an eternity in hell. But that's not even the point. God deserves the glory and praise for all things. He is the Creator.
Think about how much energy is contained in all the matter in the universe. Where did all that energy come from? Something must have created all this power. Something with even more power than is contained in the universe. An All Powerful, Ever Existing Creator could do just this.
