@Catdemon43 Sadly, no. It's been 3 years since it's been released in Japan and there hasn't been so much as a word of it coming over to the states.

I read an article a few months ago stating that because Nintendo's games are usually more family oriented, it wouldn't be wise to release a game like this. I have no idea if there's any truth to that, but that's what I've read.

@alanvamp Yes. No hard modding your wii necessary. You just need a copy of the game and a SD card with the patch contents on it. Look in the discription for the patch website were you can find more info. I bought mine from e-bay for $60 but it might be more expensive/harder to find now. Other than that, there's import sites like play asia and the like.

how does this game use a wii mote? ive heard you gotta lift it up sideways (like when using mario kart wheel) and hold it like a camera to take the shots. is this true? possibly post a video? cuz what im hoping for is that you dont just flick your wrist to just do everything.

@uspm4a1 Naw, you don't turn the Wii-mote on the side like you do with Mario Kart. You just hold it normal and use it to aim the camera/flashlight. You also shake the wii-remote when a ghost grabs you to shake them off or right before to dodge.

Hmm...How unpleasant that the series didn't remain in Playstation. Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against the idea that Fatal Frame games could also appear on Wii. But, since all the past 3 Fatal Frame games have been published on PS2

(Fatal Frame 3: Tormented even was an PS2 exclusive), you must understand that this annoys me a bit.

This game will not be realeased at all, the game sucked so much in Japan that it will not ever be sold in America. You can find it other places on web but good luck finding it in subtittles.

Europe gets gimped on most video games. For the US, Reggie doesn't want to waste money localizing something that wasn't very popular to begin with. He's the reason Mother 3 will never get released here either so we have to settle for translation patches. & why for Wii? Because Nintendo bought the rights to Fatal Frame from Tecmo, or something like that.

I knew you would say that, but I guess I'm just being selfish. And what do you mean by being westernized? A lot of games from the east are being and were westernized. Just like back then- Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. What gets to me sometimes is how there are really good games that never reach the states. That is the only thing that makes me sad, other than some English dubs that tends to suck.

By westernized im talking about games from Capcom like Dead Rising, Lost Planet and Bionic Commando. Very action oriented games that appeal to U.S - They even made RE rail shooters w/ Umbrella and Darkside chronicles. A lot of those games not too impressive. But they made those types of games because they want to appeal to the western audience and its hasent been too successful making them re-think their strategy which is gonna be hard now considering the state of affairs the gaming world is in.
