that woman with the big window was asking about curtains, not shades. maybe she wants to see outside. i like her idea of the tension rod (which I would call the pressure rod). if it doesn't exist, someone should invent the adjustable pressure rod. the result would be 4 vertical rods and 3 horizontal rods, to match the edges and divisions of her window.
however she doesn't seem to have much of a view, so maybe a translucent blind would be good. but what if she needs darkness?...
