All amazing. i prefer Gadd & Weckl... more musical. Drums sound better; their solos have beginnings/middles/ends... they go somewhere. Vinnie is more of a technician. His hands/arms really stiffen up a lot -- the other two are as loose as a goose and it shows. That said: this is a concert for Buddy. With all his blazing speed and physics-defying technique, he was often at his best when he was playing small, inside and quiet. Would have loved to hear more range in the dynamics here. A++

When I think of it, you can acctualy split these guys in three different cathagories: Dave is style, Steve is tecunique and Vinnie is speed. That's what I think at least.

The one in the middle is Gadd. Gadd has a awesome drum march. You can't really say "That one is better than the other one." They have their own style of playing, and it is amazing to watch and hear.

the more I watch this video the more I cant stop smiling. Vinnie just makes me want to hang up my sticks. Just incredible, that's why I named my dog after him. Gadd is the master that holds it all together as well.

Once again they are all great, but just like the clave player in a Latin band, the Big Daddy is the one assigned "the beat". Gadd-Daddy is givin' notice!

7:02-7:12....winner and champion. Gadd comes in a close second for being, well, GADD....but Weckl just stank. I've seen this so many times and i always turn the sound off when Dave Weckl does his fills - he sounds desperate to find his own voice here. Vinnie plays like Vinnie, Gadd plays like Gadd, but Weckl sounds like mush. What a fag.
