Wyoming's last year in the WAC was 1998; coincidentally, the last time Wyoming really fielded a good team.

From 1996-1998, the Cowboys were a mid-major power. Since then, we have been absolutely awful.

We just take it...nothing else to say. Our football program has admittedly been horrible in the 2000's and leaving the MWC and going down to I-AA football might not be the worst solution.

If we left the MWC, it would open up a spot for Boise State, which would probably turn it into a BCS conference.
