Hey mate how do you set up a snare i have got some rabbit snares already made but how do you deploy them where do you put them on the fence and how do you tie them on like how high? cheers great vids
Umm that wasn't pest control. It was hunting! Rabbit meat is one of the healthiest and leanest meat out there. You can eat a whole rabbit a day for a month and not gain a pound.
are youre snares wire because ive seeen some in a shop near me that are some sort of other material im not suree what and what is the best material for snaring?
at 5:27 he didnt let them go... if he was pest controlling, he wouldnt let them go even if it was little.... they do grow up you know, they still cause damage even when theyr little... it ran off.. if you listen he says it ran away.
Well done mate. They're obviously out of control over there too. And if any greenies want to bite this is much more humane than mixamatosis or calicyvirus that the government has used here in Australia for an introduced pest.
In areas with high rabbit numbers its not uncommon to snare in excess of 100 rabbits a day... They are deadly tool for the vermin controller, they cost little and are working 24/7 .

you can shoot them in the uk but this would be considered too cruel to be legal. i;d like to try it, it would be a good skill to have

wow, that looks like a full time job. Get to the end of the snare line, then go back and start over.
You're probably only putting a small dent in the Rabbit population there, but atleast keeping it in check.
