Other than that he didn't change. Misinformed people will naturally assume plastic surgery, skin bleaching, and etc. None of them take into account Michael aged, was a strict vegetarian, vitiligo, lupus, and stress played a major toll into the "drastic changes."

It is proven though in Jermaine's book that he did have plastic surgery in I think the late '90's. From what I read that's the only time he had it done.

The pale skin brought out some features that the brown skin hide at first and as he aged,his skin got thinner which is normal,and this made his bones look bigger. The majority of Michael's change in looks came from the fact that he lost weight... quite a bit of weight and understandably so after all the crap he was put through in America. Now I'm from the USA, but the rest of the world did not shred MJ to pieces. Just saying. His heart was so beautiful. @TristanJacksonTV First off, as I said, he DID have surgery to change his appearance. I don't care, I'm just saying. Second, vitiligo does not cause an even, overall color change such as could be seen on his face and visible body, especially as quickly and drastic as it happened. It causes splotches of pigment loss. I had a friend with it, trust me. Even Michael's good friend, mentor, and colleague, Quincy Jones, has said that Michael had chemical peels. Maybe do some research "dumbass".
Hair and makeup make a HUGE difference on anybody, and he changed his hair and makeup a LOT over the years. As a stylist, I know. These two things can do more to change someone's looks than even plastic surgery sometimes.
id like to also add that people should realize that bc he changed his nose drastically( and he did) it is bc the nose is the focal point in the face it makes it seem as if his whole face changed in certain postions but it didnt. :)

Very good video. I think it is good for people to realize, that yes he did a few surgeries (as almost all hollywood stars do), but he didn't significantly change in appearance over the years, apart from the color of his skin which was caused from a genetic disease. Also, at times his face looked a tad different due to weight loss or weight gain. But he always fundamentally looked the same.

I have a degree & background in Portrait Photography; anyone who studies a persons facial features can see this is the SAME MAN... The intensity in the eyes & his little tell all line across the bridge of his nose when he performs when showing times of emotional highs is UNMISTAKABLE @ .49 ps. Paris has the same tell; she's his girl. :) Those eyes; that smile. All Michael.
I just want to add that although the Vitiligo is well documented, we need to remember the man was/is also battling Discoid Lupus; a chronic skin condition of sores with inflammation and scarring favoring the face, ears, and scalp. So this accounts for the constant tabloid trash battles concerning his nose surgeries. This hurts me deeply, the man is doing the best he can to correct the damage. People need to leave him alone. This is beyond his control.

Far too many people believing the tabloids about so many issues regarding Michael; I would like to add that his Dad and brothers had teased Michael when he was younger and a friend had said Michael had thought himself "extremely ugly" - this is so sad :-( and many of the women who love him including myself would have loved the chance to tell Michael how beautiful he was specially that smile and those incredible eyes!
0:52 Isn't really a comparison. The left photo is the original photograph from the tour (Dangerous or HIStory, can't tell which.) The right is a photoshopped image, they took his head from a different shot from the same performance and superimposed it. It was used for a poster.
Great video though, although what would really help would be years on each photo, some of these comparisons are 5 years apart, some 20 years apart.

The pale skin brought out some features that the brown skin hide at first and as he aged,his skin got thinner which is normal,and this made his bones look bigger. The majority of Michael's change in looks came from the fact that he lost weight... quite a bit of weight and understandably so after all the crap he was put through in America. Now I'm from the USA, but the rest of the world did not shred MJ to pieces. Just saying. His heart was so beautiful. Michael had discoid lupus as well as vitiligo. If you Google Discoid Lupus and click on Images, you will see the damage the disease can do to a person's skin. So as many have said here MJ did NOT have as many plastic surgeries as was attributed to him, but instead he had some work done to correct the skin damage and that is not plastic surgery. As a public figure, he really had no choice. Also on YouTube if you type in "Michael Jackson Discloid Lupus", there are videos which explain further.

Also, the man went from being black to being very white. You can't argue that just happened from ageing. @TristanJacksonTV I believe he probably did it to even out his skin tone seeing as how the vitiligo would make him look a bit odd and he did seem to care about appearance. Understandable, sure. @TristanJacksonTV First off, as I said, he DID have surgery to change his appearance. I don't care, I'm just saying. Second, vitiligo does not cause an even, overall color change such as could be seen on his face and visible body, especially as quickly and drastic as it happened. It causes splotches of pigment loss. I had a friend with it, trust me. Even Michael's good friend, mentor, and colleague, Quincy Jones, has said that Michael had chemical peels. Maybe do some research "dumbass".

Hair and makeup make a HUGE difference on anybody, and he changed his hair and makeup a LOT over the years. As a stylist, I know. These two things can do more to change someone's looks than even plastic surgery sometimes.

Very good video. I think it is good for people to realize, that yes he did a few surgeries (as almost all hollywood stars do), but he didn't significantly change in appearance over the years, apart from the color of his skin which was caused from a genetic disease. Also, at times his face looked a tad different due to weight loss or weight gain. But he always fundamentally looked the same.

I just want to add that although the Vitiligo is well documented, we need to remember the man was/is also battling Discoid Lupus; a chronic skin condition of sores with inflammation and scarring favoring the face, ears, and scalp. So this accounts for the constant tabloid trash battles concerning his nose surgeries. This hurts me deeply, the man is doing the best he can to correct the damage. People need to leave him alone. This is beyond his control.

I still don't trust Klein; but he did try to help MJ with his skin. Thank you for the video and for doing your best to set the record straight! 0:52 Isn't really a comparison. The left photo is the original photograph from the tour (Dangerous or HIStory, can't tell which.) The right is a photoshopped image, they took his head from a different shot from the same performance and superimposed it. It was used for a poster.
Great video though, although what would really help would be years on each photo, some of these comparisons are 5 years apart, some 20 years apart.
