  • Comments where people throw insults at each other will be removed! Feel free to comment on my dance, but this is not a place for angry people to use bad language when discussing wether Algerians are Arabs or not!

  • @Mollisat Don't bother, I am algerian and a Berebr from Kabylia( old ultr berber Nationlist). I love this performance, music, costumes(melt of algerian tradional costume). wonderful, keep on. By teh way I'm vern fan of Remiti, transglobal underground and Asian dub foundation, all of them are fussion in very good way as well as the dancer. Thanks fro the good time.

  • @Ayawaw Thank you! I am happy you like it!

  • Fusion dance suits you, dear. Don't shy away from it. If the music calls for it, DO IT!

Dance is a living, breathing art form.

Love your execution of all the techniques, but especially your personal style that shines thorough. Wishing you all the best fortunes.

  • she rocks ! this is what we call the real art of traditional dancing and she is really talented ! she doesnt need any kind of dirty seduction to appear cool

  • Loved learning this style at a workshop with Amel Tafsout recently . Beautiful and SO joyful ! Love your dancing and fabulous costume .

  • beautifull dance ! just BREATH TAKING

  • She is my teacher, folks! Great teacher and a great dancer!

  • I know it is not Moroccan. Don't be sorry. Obviously, it is Algerian. A lot of ALgerian music, and some Tunisian, has a 6/8 beat! it is great!! Makes it distinctly Berber ....... and this is normal ... the Berber beats are just as often 4/4 or 8/4 ....... but the 6/8 is especially cool .... and is most common beat in Morocco .... in Algeria and Tunisia, there seems to a richer variety of Berber beats ... and Turkish influence.

  • Most of the dance elements in this fusion piece are extremely authentic! Like the footwork and leg/knee lifts ...... although Algerians either do the shoulder shimmy or the hip shimmy and have trouble doing both at the same time because they are distict to different regions and music .... and the music is 6/8 beat ..... more Moroccan style .... but since the music itself is a mix of origins ... why not the dance too? The shimmy is more MOroccan than Kabyl ... the arms are more Algerian

  • @TheDakinimoon like you said: the music is a mix of origins but all are from Algeria. The 2 DJ's that put it together are from Setif (Algeria),Rimitti is also from Algeria and the album is the first of the series "rai & b fever".So i'm sorry this not Moroccan.

  • ist a wonderful dance..i lie it soooooooo much!!

  • OHHH woooow i like it sooo much. actually seeing the first time aölgerian dance

  • "Rimitti rideem", by Rai&B Fever

  • what the name of this song

  • Jeg fikk det sydd i Algerie, men det er ikke et tradisjonelt antrekk. En fantasidrakt, dasert på gamle malerier og fotografier fra Algerie.

  • Kuult! Hvor er kostymet fra?
