This movie will remain a classic for all of eternity!! Even to this day I still watch it whenever it's being played. I do want to collect the DVD's in case they cease playing it on television. I'll never tire of this series (even when i'm old and sitting in my rocking chair--lol)

@countrygirl7535 Wow...you lucky girl! Where do you come from? The last time they played the movie in my country was about 20yrs back! Fortunately I've got the DVD now...but not the HD from Sullivan's though...and I've reread the books so many times! :-))

@angelateeng My dear friend, I'm from the U.S. (Pennsylvania,to be specific) I have satellite television (Direct tv) and they have been airing the "Anne of Green Gables" movies on the BYU network. That network has been very generous letting those of us who enjoy the movies to watch them---quite frequently.

I bought the DVD's, as we don't have the opportunity to watch it on tv, and I have watched it so many times until now that I think I know by heart all the lines! :))
