Look up Will Durant's book titled 'The Story of Civilization: Our Oriental Heritage' where he highlights muslims persecuting hindus is one of the bloodiest conflicts in history, and that even the islamic historians of that time recorded this violence with pride and justification.
I could go on, but it's quite clear how most muslims do not know their own history of violence, oppression, and slavery up to 8 centuries before the first European powers.
