I believe in the theory that the Great Pyramid contains biblical and geometric truths in its measurements and chambers. I was also convinced by a documentary that the sphinx once had a lion head ("the Lion of the tribe of Judah", Jesus) that was later reshaped by a pharao(?) to depict himself. I even believe that the once waterproof pyramid could've withstood the waters of the Flood, but I lean towards the pyramids being built long after orthodox history claims they were (Isaiah 19.19, KJV).
The blocks are not that perfect all the way up. There is up to 6 inches between some stones. The builders would fill the spaces with gypsum mortar. The charcoal used to heat the gypsum is partly what is used to date the pyramids.

It's not the engineering aspect that's hard to believe for me, it's the actual concept of building it. These things are built accurately to a half inch symmetrically from what I reaearched, which is damn near impossible even with today's landscaping and construction technology, and they didn't even have the wheel to work with for god's sake. Which is not to say that there wasnt dark skinned, or 'black people' involved, but the notion that they were more primitave or enslaved somehow is just dead wrong. @jdubpooter I agree Jdub, you should do an update and give props to the Egyptians. I think you did a good job not being biased, but the ending was yeah. And it definitely wasn't slave labor. They just had technology back then like we do now, there's just not much evidence of it. Check out the Dendera Lights on Wikipedia. Mostly people talk about the light bulb, but notice the little half machine/half human thingees holding up the "lights". Things go in cycles.

There is nothing credible to the words of people who deny that people of African descent started and sustained civilization. And btw, yes there is. DNA testing has already been done buddy. It has been used to prove that there are people outside of Jerusalem with Hebrew ancestry.

there are pyramids all over Africa--even further south than Egypt. No one acknowledges this fact because it would bring the fact into light that the black race built these pyramids. No one wants that truth. I saw the pyramids ALL over Africa's continent on a PBS special.

I think the great pyramid was built much earlier than the reign of king khufu in a time after the flood when humans were still advanced. After that though, mankind fell in their level of technology and that is why there is no visual proof of any great level of technology during Khufu's reign because there is no way that the Great Pyramid was built without an advanced level of technology.
